Subject: Season 12 Youths

I was very suprised he's 18 seeing as he's been in my youth squad for around 6 months. I would rather he'd come out with a bit more pace and less stamina but it's not a major problem. He fits pretty much perfectly into my plans.

An 18 year old worth 140k is fantastic whatever way you look at it :) The low talent means you should be able to make a NT out of him.

Is it just me or are we getting much better youths this season? It seemed like the system tightened up a few seasons back and we were struggling for players but we've had some proper class coming through this time.

i think ppl are getting better ones... im after cutting out anything tahts not got a talent 5 or below and is reaching very good minimum. although caus of the talent, they seem to be hitting formiddable most of em from now on but im only gonna have a few a season

Nah i dont think so, we're pretty much pulling at the same level as usual i think.
I sack anyone who goes past 5 weeks unless they're predicted to come out high. I have 3 or 4 players in the next month coming around Outstanding and then not much afterwards.

its better now than at the end of the season too i guess

According to the best of forum, Rick Dull is the 6th best 18 year old striker in the game. I'd like to bring that sort of forum into Ireland but it'd take a lot of space.
Maybe we could use one of the dead forums.

its gonna take a bit to run it though caus ur gonna have to have time to edit it etc... i haev atm but wont in a few weeks probably...

That would be the most likely place. To be honest i dont think we have enough players coming through to justify the effort it would require. Instead i just ran our players through the formula's in Excel last night.

makes sense... the ones on intl forum get updated the whole time aswell... wud take a good bit of work and as you said we dont exactly have competition...

only thing i can see is to have it in 3 year age groups... 16-19 best, 20-23 best, 24-26... etc

maybe 16,17, 18 and 19 shud be seperate alright :)
