Today we will have an important game in our group. We will face Cymru U21 in our first match. If we want to play for the top 2 places in the group this match must be won! We will see right away were the level of this group is!

Right, everything seems to be set. Lets see if we can't get 3rd place this season :P

good luck today, sure you will win this match, we have good team, all you need is to get 4 points with Denmark. Give you advice, in today's match create a tactic that does not resemble the one prepared for the match against Bulgaria ;). march to WC, go Ireland :P

Well, I've not made it very easy, but we shall see. My tactics are rather hit and miss (I havent screwed the lines up like against my league opponent >.>)

yes indeed. Classdifference between players was not big. Our defenders had some difficulties due to low sideskills and had also difficulties to tackle in a good way. We will have to do better to do something against Denmark and Bulgaria but the first three points are in.

On a side note, I was happy with the tactic. If finishing was better (not to mention slightly overhit passes and runs into the keeper...) we could have a surprise. Ah well. Best of luck qualifying.

Yeah, you were lucky with the throw ins... they were a lot in your advantage...

I suspected you'd keep the 'USA' tactic, and attempted to nail throw-ins. It mostly worked. Waste of 2+ hours of tactic. Hmph.

I am feeling bitter though. I'll hope to surprise Denmark or Bulgaria for you ;)

Bravo Smurf, a good result, Banker is better than side defender, because has height 1.63 ;), of course depends on other players...still good luck, very difficult match with Bulgaria, maybe a draw, but very difficult ... I give you a tip, will play the same tactics that match with Denmark;)...Go Ireland!!!
