Bloody hell, first cully, then Kell, now Croom, soon i wont have any players that can walk. This is a disaster for my league and cup run!

5-0 against Misr. Not bad but cinsiderind=g they're such a weak team I'd have liked a few more goals. Tried out a 442 with a Def-Mid and narrow wingers. Worked well enough but if we'd been playing a decent team they'd have had too much space out wide. Forwards didn't push up enough but the defence were solid.
It was something new anyway and it didnt work too badly. I think it makes sense for us to play with width because thats where our strength is. The defence looks more solid with each game. I'm looking forward to when you get tested against a team on our level.
Yeah I think we have Iceland in 2 weeks. Should be fairly even

I thought the formation was reasonably good apart from the striking position, thats too high even if Andorra hadnt played that line. It looked very similar to the one i used in the cup semi-final. It just happened that the formation Andorra played was spot-on.
For their goal, you cant have the defence positioned that high. The defenders have to be on the backline as there is no offside from corners. The set-pieces in general need to be looked at as sometimes there is no-one to throw to.

its funny because i looked at 15 minutes of our league game (me and welchy's) last week.
he asked me about the NT lineup, and my comment was that for throwins in league he was targetable :P
andorra are a similar team to us though in terms of strenght.. so a draw is a reasonable result, although it could easily have been a win.
what do you do to counter a high line like that? lots of pace upfront? and good mids?
