No not yet. I've just got taken all the departing players out of one database and added a few more players to the squad. I don't think i'll need an U-20 list back, that what i've preety much got in that new DB.

send me on a list of players that need to be updated so mate...
i figure the best way to do it is send a link to the NTDB and work on it from there..
there is some sort of export function on that and in terms of sharing info on who's updated, its best to do it that way i figure.
im guessing every 20 year old and younger, needs to be updated basically...yeah?
i'll do out a template mail there now and come up with a quick way of doing it ;)

notepad could be useful for this too.

Easiest way to do it is

Export the database

Delete all the columns that aren't relevant, Team Work, Club etc

Re-order the columns into the normal order

Find and replace 0-17 as Tragic-Divine

That should leave you with a mini-database which then needs to be copied into the complete one.

Once you've done that, order by date (most recent first) and then by name. You'll end up with a list in name order where the most recent update for that player is above the older one. Delete the older ones and it's complete. Shouldn't take more than 20 minutes.

Welchy, can I have the full U-21 database you've been working on? I'm going to update it a few days early.

Just something to be careful of. When you're exporting from the new database, it's LastUpdate you need, not XMLUpdate and it's Def, not Tac, which is obviously tactical discipline and not tackling.

@kenyard: The u-20 database is in the google doc's folder. The players in the squad with an * next to them have already been updated this week.

Got it. I've been working on the database all morning, It's taking a long time because I've 4 to combine but I've only got yours to add now.

This hyperlinking thing is a pain in the arse. I might ask if it can be automatically written into the export code.

I've updated from the NTDB only on the u-20 DB. So you have updated 21y/o's but not everyone else. I'll send you the updated under 20's if you want them

i can look into updating players not in the squad if u want just to see if theres any other talent there mate.. ill leave squad members to you.

i see hood's in there.. no chance of making the team though. some sweet defenders still in there. am amazed by some of em!
@Nin: valuation for hood? tinking of selling and training other players i have and investing in some decent talent for next season anyways..
