i agree with nin you have done a good job especially with limited resources this and last season..
we are struggling in midfield this season so its almost as if when you played them so deep last week you knew its just longball or nothing :P

either way the coming seasons i think we have some talent coming through...
am hoping there are more mid trainees as there hafnt been too many this year :/

I have more mids coming and there should be a noticable improvement from the ones currently being used soon. I've been focusing on pace and tech so they're able to get the ball, when I switch to passing and playmaking they'll actually be able to do something with it.

or so we can hope ;)
my defenders are coming along pretty ok. pretty chuffed with one of the 16 year olds.. if hes as talented as im hoping he will make the NT before the U21s even

When I sell off 5 players I think I have at least 2 trainees that could be very useful defenders.

i should have most of the potential defenders coming through at the moment...
zastorve has one, who is better than mine alright, i wasnt on to buy him :/
problem is my league position is suffering..
picking up a keeper for later

Shields, Bannon, Roadknight, Clifford, MacDonald are all defenders. I'll be keeping Shields and Bannon for a little while yet but the others are in need of defensive training.

bannon must be pretty decent for his age considering the value and wage...
mine wont be ready for U21s until they turn 21 at this rate i reckon...
depends what we have, but i think defence is pretty solid for the next 4 seasons anyway each year

Bannon is a star, his value would be higher if he had full stamina. I should be selling him around the middle of next season

unfortunatelly the last year wasnt closed with a win.

as you can see we lost against moldova in the final of the mini wc.
moldova was just too strong, but we were close to surprise them. i'm a little bit dissapointed but we have to go full steam ahead.




generally i'm satisfied with our performance in the mini wc. here is our history:

Ireland - Crna Gora 3:2
that was the worst and hardest match. crna gora is weaker, and our tactic didnt work. we were able to beat them only with penalties.

Ireland - Cymru 1:0
that was a nice match! with some luck we beat cymru, who is actually stronger than us.

Ireland - Island 1:0
that was a hard match too. island is similar strong, but our defence was pretty storng, and we let them just a few chance to score.

Ireland - Moldova 1:2
in the final we had to play against a much stronger team with many great player. i think we were very close to beat them, i'm satisfied with our tactic we had many great chance to score in the last minutes too.



this week we will play against indonesia.
our last rating: 49.2
their last rating: 52.6

no doubt, it will be hard too.

You're a better manager than he is. I'd expect a win.

that was all i was able to do. :(

you could see that stewart missed many great chance and he was tackled from behind too, while their striker did what they wanted.
their team worths much more than ours, its really hard to win without some luck even when you know their tactic.
