well. i don't really know. maybe because of Ganzengeile.. he was NT . maybe one of the reason is that i like this country. but i was looking for a country to help them. but if you don't need my help. that's okay (:

I think you asked earlier how many seasons i've taken charge and i forgot to answer. This one will be my 5th, i did 3 seasons, took a 3 season break and i'm into the 2nd this time around. This will be my last with Ireland if we dont qualify for the world cup. If we do qualify i'll have one more.

no that's okay. i don't write my opionion because i think he'll do his job very well. and when he says there's nothing to do for me, why should i annoye him ;)

Well i didn't manage to qualify last time and if i don't manage it this time i don't think i could justify a 3rd attempt. I'm still annoyed with myself for stepping down the first time because things were starting to come together but i didn't have the time for a 4th season. What i'd really like is more Irish managers to take the job. We have some good managers here but i think they lack faith.

how about polish manager that is counted as Irish?:P

If you've got an Irish club and you're the right candidate then I've no problem. What i don't like is someone winning an election because they're Polish. Personally i'd like any future Ireland manager to have spent a season with the U-21's first.

i think that's the best "training" for a NT coach if you're u21 NT coach ;) .
in my opionin is the wish of every country to go the way with the coach of their country.
but when they're "lazy", not interested or something like that, you've no choice ;)

My view is that Nin has done a great job with the Irish NT, has been invaluable in encouraging the Irish teams, providing advice and puts in huge effort and time into Sokker.org.

Not everyone is "lazy" or not interested, but simply don't have the time to put in the amount of effort required to be a successful NT manager. I certainly do not have the time due to work and personal commitments which would mean a poor performing team (I dont even have the time to work on my own formation these days!)

well. i see. and i didn't say everyone is "lazy" . but i think 2-3 of all managers here have time to be a successful NT. I agree , that Nin has done a great job and i really appreciate all his work.

But i mean why aren't a few managers who comments the game? it's enough to write a row of words? that's a work of 1 minute. that's why i think, many guys here aren't interested in.
