I arranged a friendly against Osterreich this week. The sokkerland of famous sokkermanagers loop, jausengegner, wimmy, I am the walrus... It will be a difficult match because I haven't got full knowledge of the strength of the Irish team. In terms of quality/rating they seem to have a slightly better team. They have also the experience of a very good Austrian coach.
I've made the tactic myself this time because time was too short for a lot of interaction. It will be an interesting match for me, hopefully with a nice result at the end!

i played my first irish match against austria too! :i hope you will be as lucky as me with the irish team. ;)

I hope I will be as lucky as Langhe in my cupmatch against him on wednesday. I'm sure it will be a smooth victory then ;)

obviously you coulnd't motivate your team, or do u have an english coach for penalty shooting ?

I played against langhe and he certainly has to be constantly on his knees with the devs or something (or somewhere else ;) ). It's not the first time :(

1-2 loss. I think the tactic was ok and neutralised most of the dangers of Osterreich. We clearly had the best midfield and gave some nice passes from there. Unfortunately our strikers lacked that bit extra to create more chances. . Their strikers were also quite strong at first sight. We had some chances to score another goal, but Osterreich also had, so I think it is a correct score and a good performance of the Irish team.

Next week our U20 will face New Zealand U21.

My opinion is:
- First, Banker, my player can not play defense in center, because it has height 1.63, and 3 construction;
- two: necessarily have to play with wing, when you meet a team far better, because the striker don't have speed (Robinson lost all the balls, and only goal was scored with his head);
- three: my opinion is that supposed to play with four defenders and a midfielder or two in front of the defense, it is very hard for defenders to stay in line, so it is necessary to close lanes with 1 or 2 midfielders.

Could get more with these players, i hope you do not mind me, but i think you should play with those 19 to 20 years for increasing faster.

performance is not a defeat, had to win the match, Ireland U21 won against Austria U21, when zastarovje was coach, same mark had.

Seemed to me tha most of the play went towards Robinson so his problem was noticeable (although he did beat Jungchen in the 90th min!). I thought the defence played well but since both goals came through the centre we could review that position.
