Close match with not a lot of chances and a fatal goal of the Danish in the 87th minute. I guess it's over now to finish with a ranking within the 32 first teams...
It will be difficult next season for the Irish U21 team. They won't have the players to make a difference. players like Bannon, Scully, Macdonald will be missed a lot probably...

yeah its always the same mate ;)
imo we have some great players coming through.
defence is fairly solid for next season as well as attackers

In any way I failed to make the difference this season. That's a pitty for me and for Ireland :). hopefully you have more luck and good results next season.

looking at the squad for next season reddy wont even make it which is annoying :P
didnt realise the midfield was so strong. though his stamina is low anyways so he wouldnt have been much good anyways

the strikers are 20 at the moment also pretty much. i reckon they can only improve.
looking at the database there now i want we hunger for mayhems guy wheneham. wow. hes been butchered already though. should have been a striker or mid and he trained defender :S
then again he can be a top notch defender longterm but even then he will have like outstanding striker lol

keeper is the only major weakness next season. or the defenders having an average of outstanding defender.. which is poor.. usually they are around brilliant :/

Yeah, defence will be stable, but nor more that that... Strikers need urgent techtraining and Sathiamoorthy will be the best MID together with Beaumont. I don't see a strong 3rd or 4rd player there...

a match that was supposed to win it, I think that if you play with one extreme, we have obtained very good results. And next season, I'm sure we will do much more, because we have strong midfielders, solid defense, just as we need an effective tactic, which highlight the strikers.

I for one am sure that if you have chosen coach, I will be able to qualify to World Cup, sin this season that were lost important points.

It is sufficient if two midfielders who can make the difference, others will be helped by positioning tactics. I think they have played the wing, especially the strikers were not technical enough.

2 midfielders means you need them to be injury free, suspension free and with form for a whole season ...

and will be, this season were not injuries, red cards or yellow were not too many; in the form will be, if they play their positions, and if they play and as club team ;). Shame that Mr Smruf could not keep us in the top 32, especially since the players had for 21 years, had a poor route: 1 win, 2 draws and 4 defeats, were teams that could beat, but that was, and had bad luck, all that matters is what we do from now on.

we have 4 mediocre mids. nothing special but kinda formiddable across 5 skills types.

strikers are balanced but nothing special just yet. need an update on a few. theres some nice talents coming through at the moment

defenders im not sure will be strong enough :/

well, you have smith ,banker, brogan, robinson or even my philips who will be brilliant pace with incredible defender around week 4-5
i see your only problem are mids at the moment...

keeper is the big one for this season i think.
mids arent as good as they were but they arent poor. i remember having to play defenders as mids when i was there. though we had a lot of talent in defence then and it overflowed to mid
