well, you say you want to do performance with ireland but i don`t understand your application for the elections when you made a not so good impression last time if you care about this country, take a short break.
2011-10-18 15:05:45
As long as I am in the opinion that I can do at least as good as the other candidates and I enjoy doing it I will try to continue.
2011-10-18 15:09:05
my proposition is to make a debate topic where all irish users will ask a questions or more for all candidates
i`m waiting for your oppinion about this...
2011-10-18 15:10:04
Every Irish user can ask questions in the topics of the candidates isn't it?
2011-10-18 15:37:47
actually, i dont think we have so many drug addicts in our community.
2011-10-18 15:41:03
did not get, or do not want to understand, I want to create a topic where the Irish community, we can address some questions of both candidates, and our turn to address a few questions each. This is a debate, and be moderated by an Irish manager of their choice.
2011-10-18 15:53:26
none of us have moderator powers on the forums :P
(not yet anyway)

as for a debate i honestly dont think there is enough interest lol.

as for the team.. there is a squad of 20-25 actual players and then just people added for filling the spaces...
we really lack any depth.. ah i forgot keepers for the thingy sur

@groene buster sutton gk is a lie from value

I asked the skills from buster sutton, I have no idea :)

As for the team : like I said we have 5 or 6 real defenders who are good enough. Their sideskills are really too weak to let them play as defmid. We have 1 who can act as defmid, but with good on the sideskills it's really not an option to repeat every week.

We have three mids on a decent level and two replacements with both some real problems in stamina or skills.

We have three decent attackers who will be able to score goals on u21 level

We have also 1 goalkeeper, the reserve goalkeeper normally isn't good enough to play a whole season!

So in total we have at best 18-19 players. Count some suspensions, injuries, low form and you can conclude indeed we lack a little bit of depth. That doesn't mean we can't get any results. Top 2 in the group would be very nice!

i know the squad is quite small but without injuries or suspensions we can manage the qualifications
just like you qualified a season ago, you can do it again

How will you deal with players much less than what you had in this season, considering results 1 win, 2 draws and 5 defeats ... (you had very good players: Scully, Bannon, Anderson, MacDonald, Holt, Popocatepetl), and most importantly you lost to Denmark, the team was in a lot goalkeeper, 1 midfielder and 1 striker who is now 22 years.

We lost indeed a couple of great players and it will be difficult to replace them. On the other hand our attackers are still the same this season, so they can only be stronger compared to last season. I have good hopes our defence and goalkeeper have the same level as last season. I asked the manager of Brogan for example to train DEF a bit further so they can replace sam macdonald and Holt more easily.
Our midfield will be weaker, our att will be stronger, si I hope it compensates.
With a better control of the trainingprogram and better att's i hope to achieve the goals I set. Offcourse it's a problem if we loose again against denmark, but we have our chances. Last year there was not really a difference on the pitch.

dont forget the schedule last season was pretty heavy (maybe too heavy for decent results) but was picked by Nin, not Smurf.
2011-10-19 14:16:42
yes, the midfielders look weak but we should work out somehow, by tactics.
2011-10-19 14:22:17
From my point of view was not so hard, do you mean that New Zealand was difficult :P, on the contrary was a balanced program, and I could get only one victory, in my opinion were poor results with the same caliber team as Ireland. I understand that Mr Smurf had to play with teams like Nicaragua to achieve victory!!!
