It may not be your aim, but it certainly comes across that your election tactic is to belittle and demean Smurf's acheivements. I do not doubt for a second he is an excellent manager, and anyone on the fence in this election will not join your side if you keep it up.

If this was someone who'd been in the community for a while, you may have found yourself facing much sterner opposition from the Irish (see the Polish user who went for the jugular against me on the elections. That didnt end well ;))

I did nothing but reality shows, but I see some truth upset ... i didn`t said Mr Smurf isn`t a good manager, I only showed the Irish community, the poor results obtained for Ireland U21 (this is true, and I do not see why people get upset, he and his supporters). I know that the results keep him alive on a coach, of course for a community that wants performance.
I love Ireland as a country and I wish all the best for her, that's why I decided to apply, and to lead Ireland where it belongs, in the second pot and to qualify for WC. Irish managers will decide who is better for the post of coach!

i could have quit after the last elections but i`m firmly convinced that if i won the elections, i could do great job here ;)

Today we play against Chile U21. They have their weaknesses too. On the other hand they seem to have a pretty impressive striker in Barahona . One of their best defenders : Cayo Aceval is suspended.

In the Irish team Paddy Fahy will play for the first time for the Irish team. The rest of the team will be composed with the usual players. Dave Sathiamoorthy will have the most important role in the team, so hopefully he went to bed early yesterday.

Upcoming talents James Killeen and Brent Clarke will be on the bench.

3-0 loss. Equal match for me with equal chances to win. Defense of Chile really had difficulties with our strikers, but they still don't manage to score despite several 1 on 1's and good chances... A bit annoying especially when you see the other side scoring from very far or with less-quality chances.

I see both teams used 3 strikers. Wouldn't it have been better to use two strikers and one more defender or midfielder?

From my point of view of tactics went wrong, who did not build because the midfielders were too low or too high, especially when defenders recover our square, midfielders were all around that, and went directly release to the strikers, who could not cope. I say that with a tactic more compact, with smaller spaces between the lines, you could get a positive rezultaty. For me personally, the result is humiliating, and do not know if Mr. Smurf can beat Denmark (direct opponent for qualification to WC) with these results.
I would like to consider these results, considering that we have an accessible group, and choose what is best for Ireland U21. Good luck to all.

Problem is we have no fourth midfielder of a level that could make a difference. i could put coutts smith on the DM, but he has an average of good on the midskills and that isn't enough. Our 2 reserve midfielders have very low stamina or too low skills for this level. Our next defender is kevin lyons, tragice form and not the topplayer too...
Offcourse i would have played in a different way if I had more and more diverse players. If i take in consideration the form, injuries, and suspensions. Reality shows that there isn't a lot of choice to play. On the other hand we created a lot of chances and 1 on 1's and we should have score more than 1 goal with tese chances.
