I'm manager of Baile Ard Aon, and to be honest I'm slightly lost, again, after playing for well over a year. I'm looking for advice here as I'm not really a proper newbie.
- My tactics are bizarre to any decent manager, that I am sure of, I haven't got a notion how to make a decent midfield.
-I can hardly recognize a player with any real potential.
-I don't know if my team is good enough, and I'm not sure what areas I should improve, I have €1,000,000 in the bank to spend.
I'm looking for advice on these three points
I'll post my players stats up as well, I'm not too worried that my league mates can see them as I think my team needs a makeover so I'll be selling most of them.

If i was you i'd sell Eugênio Dutra Zanata, coz u still have more good strikers and sold players that are over 30 because there's no point of keepin them
I'd say you need a coach who's at least Incredible, a much younger and better defence and you should probably switch training to something that needs more attention as your strikers look good enough already.
I think Dutra Zanata is close to popping in striker though, so I might keep him for a week or two more.
Should I keep an over 30 policy forever, say when when Bas Yener turns 30 should I sell him?
When is the best time to sell btw?

Probabaly a good point about training, I'll switch to helping to improve my midfield soon.

the best time will be when everybody will be gettin money which will be soon
I was getting worried until I saw the strikers :) Connell in particular looks good.
In terms of your other players, yup, they're mostly old and in need of replacement. Personally what I like to do is map out my training on my best prospect and buy players to fit with that. You're already doing well there with your other striker trainees- they'll all do well out of pace technique and striking. To get the rest of your players up and going I would plan on doing pace for all of next season. Rather than waste the pace training on the old guys you have I'd concentrate on buying 5 or 6 new players with low (good-solid) pace but a good spread in other skills. That way as you train your 6 strikers in pace you can have other players benefit from the pace training as well. You can train up to 22 players a week in pace so depending on how active you want to be you could sell that Zarata guy as well to make cash for even more of these low pace guys. I'd concentrate on guys turning 21-22 next week for that, if they are low in pace you should get them pretty cheap.

Also- without trying to sound too, patronising as I know you've been around for a while and you're doing well with your trainees, a visit to Newbie Ireland and Nins Newbie Guide might be a good idea for consolidating what you know :)

Puhh ... same for me! ;-)
I basically like your ideas, except that I wouldn't switch to pace- but to technique training!
The reason is that it'll be almost impossible to change all the older players with younger ones, I guess this process needs time, more than just a few days/weeks if you don't wanna lose too much "skills".
Therefore I see technique as the better idea, selling some older guys and buying 4 young players for the additional 4 technique trainee places. While training technique there's some time to replace the older players who're left. If they're replaced and the team is (much) younger, then it's worth switching to pace.
That's what I'd suggest ...
