The keys were screwed up just before they became unresponsive. I've cleaned everything but nothing so far. I'm using my sisters desktop at the moment.
Replacement keyboard for this model is £65 and i'm not that keen to buy if i dont know whether it'll work.

if all comes to all just get a desktop keyboard and plug it in the usb port.

Check if it's still under warranty- depending on who you got it off it could be a quite long one. Like Kenyard said if another keyboard works on it and you've taken it fully apart and cleaned it it's probably dead.

Warranty is out. I'll try out another keyboard later.

I took the keyboard out, cleaned it, cleaned the metal paneling below it.

well, if water did pass that barrier and got to the mainboard , like in my case, you should clean the mainboard too. there were white residues on some of the contacts... im not promising anything, it just worked out well , and did take only 30 min. a manual provided.

There's almost no way for water to get inside as it's a sealed unit barring the cable slot.
