I've went through all the teams in ireland. It was like strolling through some kind of ghost town.

Apart from those spooky bot teams. there are at least 20 teams that formerly had users. 4 teams dead and going bankrupt. Over 8 teams who haven't logged in in a long time. 1 team with a banned user

There are only 12 active teams now.

The 12th one all alone way down in division 2 12. for some reason.

You need to make some tactical posts on HT or other types of games :).

Aye.

Admittedly it would be good if people got reminder emails if they had not logged on - but we do not do that for some reason...

What methods of advertiseing have been tried already?

What makes the game more popular in other countries?

If you advertise on HT, the best success (at least in England) has come through fed advertising rather than general conf advertising.

There are too many people on the confs who dismiss SK as being rubbish (having played the game for 1 day) or a HT copy (which it isn't).

In non-HT Nederland and Belgium such threads have been big successes. Every time such a thread is made or revived at least 30 or 40 new users sign up in a couple of days...

And there are always some people who try to bring Sokker down, but on the other hand, there are always a couple of dedicated Sokker-managers who enter the discussion with reasonable arguments, giving both the advantages and disadvantages of both games. Threads almost never get closed and most of the times they stay alive several weeks (the current thread in Nederland is alive for 10 days already).

I don't play hattrick. I don't have time so what other ways can i help?
2006-02-21 13:52:11
Posting on Irish football-forums might help. Maybe the professional football clubs in Ireland have forums or something, you could advertise there. Or just general football forums, surely there are forums like that in Ireland. Maybe you can google to find some.

I'll see what i can do. Are there any links to downloads for this game? and where can i find them
2006-02-22 11:16:11
What do you mean by downloads?
2006-02-22 14:19:29
Is sokkermon one ?

I don't know much about techinical stuff.
2006-02-22 14:24:05
Yeah, I think someone gave you a link on the international forum already, right?

Anyway, here they are again:

Sokkermon download
Serial

Download and unzip Sokkermon, than download your serial and save it as 'serial.txt' in the same folder where you unzip Sokkermon and you're ready to go.
