Subject: The Buckfast Cup

In a tribute to the good old days when I used to enjoy Hattrick, I have set up the inaugural Buckfast Cup.

Only room for three other competitors at the moment so get those drinking caps on and hurry on down [leagueid]35270[/leagueid]

You should remember the very first Buckfast Cup in HT between Northern Ireland and Scotland. My team was based in Scotland but I took part for the Northern Ireland side and we thoroughly humiliated the kilted woofters.

The Scots like to think they're the Buckfast kings but come to Lurgan and see the walk-in fridges dedicated to Buckfast and Buckfast alone, and the other 8 shelves of unfridged Buckfast (cos the true connosieur drinks it warm) and then you'll see what a real Buckfast-drinking town looks like.

This pissy 3 or 4 shelves of Buckfast you get in Scotland is frankly an embarrasment.

Its the only alcohol i can served for here Lol. A shop near me has loads of bucky just lying around so there tryna get rid of a good bit of it so they sell em to anyone. ;D I've never tried it with milk.. nice idea.

You're already joined into your own. That's been part of my complaint recently, i didn't want to play in the NCA league but as the founder i have to.

Buckfast Cup is turning into a suitably prestigious gathering with the addition of TurnipFish and x3widracin - if you want to fill that coveted last spot you'd better act quick!

For forks sake I've cocked it up again and this time I've dragged two others into the mix with me :(

Forgot to unregister for another cup I had previously signed up for and now it's gone active, so couldn't start the Buckfast Cup.

Apologies to x3widracin and hoodibaba, and congrats to turnipfish for knowing not to have faith in me :o/
