Looks a good prospect, shame he is not more talented.

Here are my 2, the first has talent of circa 6, so selling him. The second had talent of around 3.66 but is useless and sacked already.

Michael Shields, age: 16
club: Super Athletico, country: Ireland
value: 26 750 €, wage: 625 €
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

average stamina tragic keeper
weak pace good defender
tragic technique hopeless playmaker
hopeless passing unsatisfactory striker

Dwayne Duncliffe, age: 18
club: Super Athletico, country: Ireland
value: 46 750 €, wage: 825 €
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

tragic stamina tragic keeper
very good pace hopeless defender
tragic technique tragic playmaker
tragic passing good striker
2009-07-02 11:41:44
You sacked Duncliffe? He was young, talented and only needed technique
2009-07-02 12:30:50
Tragic technique - needed a lot of work
Tragic passing - my strikers should have some level of passing
Tragic stamina - not much of an issue but really low level
No defending or playmaking...

I just didnt think anyone would buy him, he is too much work for me and is unlikely to be great

From formidable with a talent really close to 3 (3/3/4/3/3/3/3)- just a pity he's not starting with a lot...

Alex Blood, age: 18

value: 45 750 €, wage: 800 €
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

NTDB:
adequate stamina tragic keeper
good pace adequate defender
good technique tragic playmaker
hopeless passing tragic striker

Second guy is from incredible with talent 4

Darren Deveraux, age: 19

value: 111 500 €, wage: 1 500 €
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

tragic stamina hopeless keeper
excellent pace solid defender
solid technique hopeless playmaker
unsatisfactory passing average striker

I'm training pace so I'll keep them for a while
2009-07-02 17:46:40
definately worth 100k anyway he was - and at that talent you're taking 2 week pops easy!
would be poor tech by end of season and a random or 2..
guess when you're training pace :/
definately would have sold though..especially if u had that talent posted
2009-07-02 18:21:50
both are interesting.. deveraux isnt a bad striker. wont make U21 though..

with that talent blood should be interesting to see what happens him. disgusted with adequate stamina, and he could have been 17 also.
im amazed at how many high talent players you get :/
maybe i should keep more of my crap youths! cant wait to improve a bit and actually be able to afford an unearthly head coach :P
2009-07-02 19:06:18
I only keep youth players with a talent of 4 or under so while they're all usually pretty good I go long stretches without promoting anyone. I still have 3 incredible + youths to come out before the end of the season, only problem being though is the timing. While that seems like a lot I have nobody looking good for next season at the mo. Personally I think Karloss has had the better youths for the last few seasons- Aaron Holt being a prime example :)
2009-07-02 21:28:55
Similar for me. Anyone who goes 5 weeks without a pop is sacked on the spot, as is anyone who I don't think will reach Excellent, unless they're in their first season. It's cut my youths down by a fair amount.
2009-07-03 05:11:26
thats what im doing.. although i have 2 youths who are talent 6 and 1 who is talent 5 caus one is reaching outstanding and the other formiddable. will make good sales i figure..
iv been doing youths for 4 seasons now and have had 2 players have a pop in 3 weeks..and at that its 3.5-3.75 talent...
i dont see much point in anything below solid/very good for 16 yera olds excellent formiddable for 17 and then higher for 18...
think my brilliant can be 17 in 4 weeks time... which would be pretty sweet. iv not had one youth so far this season as a result of cutting down my squad..but have in 2,3,4,6 weeks now :)
timing as usual is terrible :P

very good pace very good defender
weak technique tragic playmaker
weak passing good striker
2009-07-05 09:51:58
should sell ok...
pity he's 19 though..could have been great..if he was 18 i would have taken him off ya probably :P
2009-07-07 13:37:35
