i picked up an 18 year old version of him with weak pace for 200k.. and one level less passing

then again a seasons general training will give a few random pops too, but still!

Big difference in 17 and 18 year olds as you say, the only downer for him is the pace otherwise I'd value him higher. The fact he's only 17 means that he'll give 1 or 2 week pops in pace for a while, as long as he's talented. I'm guessing he is as he got to a high level in the school in short time.

theres been frantic bidding for him (all by me) and he's already up to 443k. Unfortunately i have no more cash, so unlikely to get him :( - he would have fitted nicely nto my team as well

He's gone to a top league team in Turkey so should get decent training. I would have bought him but he essentially came up 24 hours early and I didn't have the money.

Damn I could have and would have taken him at that price.

I say this every time this happens, but when a good Irish prospect comes up I really think we need to co-ordinate things better so as he has the best chance of going to an Irish manager. If the deadline had been a bit later in the day I would definitely have bid well over a million for him.

At least it's worked out fairly well this time in that some numpty hasn't got him, but Turnipfish would have got more money and I would have sorted his pace right out if the deadline was even an hour or two later.

next time i post a prospect (3 weeks time hopefully) let me know when you would like him listed.

Outstanding has talent of circa 5, dont know about the 16yr old. May keep him and see how quickly he improves

dunno.. im never able to judge them..i guess with pace training and 2 week pops he might look pretty decent at the start of next season.. i dont like training them though because they are a waste of space in your team on the pitch :P
