Hi guys
I'm in desperate need of money.

I've put up some players for sale but couldn't set an asking price higher than 0€ which I think is unfair.

Anyway, please have a look and see if there is anything worth buying.

Put a few quid on one of them for you.

Thanks ! His deadline is 20 minutes into a game he'll be lineing up for on wednesday. It'll be funny to see what happens there :)

... the game, i just realised is against your team. I suppose he can arrive on the Celtic Knights bus and leave on the Kilgarry one. :)

That's gotta be tough. I'm gonna play him up front so if he scores it'll be really aukward for him :D

You can't list at 0 no matter how much money you have. Has to be for at least 1.

How are ya managing to lose so much money?
2006-03-15 08:42:08
A key way to lose a lot of money is to have an overly expensive coaching setup.

I think the question was directed to me or are you managing to loose money too?

To answer your question gyro. I had an overly expensive coaching team and that left me in the red. I let go all my assistant coaches but i was still losing money.

I fired a lot of useless players which i should have done ages ago. I reduced my youth team from a health 20 to 13.

I'm training a lot of players that have high wages.

Once you havn't got money to put an asking price on a player it's hard to raise money. There are a lot of shark B*stards out there only too glad to pay 1€ for a decent player.

I'm not losing money in the slightest.

I gain about £40-50k before training revenue every week, that's with a full sized junior squad.

I think in the long term you need to increase your stadium size- without that extra income you'll find it hard to get much of an economy going. The problem is of course that you need to have a lot of cash to do that :). Right now you need to be getting in more from sponsors than you're spending on wages etc- otherwise recovery will be very tough.

well done.

Trouble is you can't build your stadium when you've got bad dedt.

All i can rely on now is a few decent people putting proper bids on my players.

Paid 40k for Hanrahan.

You have to remember though, that my wage bill is far from small. I spend £60405 on total salaries (of which players are £28050).

It's only going to get bigger, as I've got one player on £4110 a week.

Your 80k is in euros aswell, while mine is in pounds, so it isn't that much more :P.

Ouch - I'm spending 71k on wages :) and your wage bill is far from small... Is a good coaching team not worth the expense then?

My coach setup is good. I use this coach as my main one:

Roland Hamilton, age: 53,
wage: 12 705 £
club: Mcoi, country: England
outstanding coach

Training effectiveness:
unearthly of stamina, unsatisfactory of keeper
unearthly of pace, unearthly of defender
outstanding of technique, brilliant of playmaker
excellent of passing, good of striker

I have 2x excellent assistants and 1x solid. My youth coach is excellent, but not wage optomised as I use him when I train passing or tech.
