just informed the guy im playing there now, so we can make sure and have a game planned!

he's online too... pretty strong team, so should be good! hoping he can speak english!

im assuming as with all friendly competitions of this nature, its cup rules, and match is played at the team with the biggest stadium's homeground...

Cup rules, ideally the game should be played at the biggest stadium but if push comes to shove, home team gets to decide.

its a cup..there is no home team until the fixture is made... :S

you just have to wait until both of you are out of the eircom cup, and then send an invite to each other...
(if one goes out first, they can arrange a friendly with a random team until the person they are playing is out...)

some of the top teams, like sultans of ping will be in the eircom for a while i expect, probably last 8, depending on the draws, so this will be very staggered...

I'd rather not stagger it. I'd imagine only Prem teams will be left after the quarters in Week 4 so we should start in Week 5.

start asap i figure for most of the matches, or teams will end up in friendly leagues... unless we pm them now, which i tried doing to the team im playing, but hafnt got a response yet... :/

so Nin is this what you plan for next (this) season? no SICs or Trinities this time, just Division 1 Cup?

No international cups this season, they'll be back for next season. I'm trying to work out a decent scheduel.

etc. Somewhere in that though I'd a cup for the champions. Ideally I'd actually like that champions cup every season but it's difficult to get the teams and there's no way I'm running it alongside the SIC (which will be reduced to 256 teams next time it's run)

looking at the opening stats this season, a division 03 vs division 04 cup would be really interesting! although we have it slightly on marks...

Killygarry look like a team that could win this.
