Subject: [NT]Shaneteam

Hi all - in the absence of Nin this time round I've decided to run for NT coach, hopefully to carry on his good work and qualify for the world cup proper. I've done this twice before- first time round we got to the semi finals of the mini world cup, more recently we came third in a qualifying group trailing behind Argentina and the Czech Republic.

My plan, once again will be to get us qualified, obviously how successful I would be at that will depend a lot on the group we get. Even if we find ourselves in a tough group I learned a few lessons last time round that might increase our chances. Rather than trying wildly experimental tactics in tough games, for example, I'm going to strive to just keep it solid and hop for some luck.

Also, I'm aware that I'll be choosing from a pool of players that include a lot of my current and former players. I hope it goes without saying (even though I am saying it ;) ) that I will pick the players I feel can do the job, whether they be mine or somebody elses.

Feel free to ask any questions you want, I am away ( going beck to my roots in Ireland) for the weekend so I may not be on much. From the looks of things Ireland seems to have t'interweb and everything now so I should be able to pop in a few times anyway ;)

hey ;) i would like to know.. if you win do you want to play in British League? England, Scotlant, Wales and Ireland? 3 friendly matches or with second round 6 friendlies ;)

As Baslx has stepped up to the plate and is running for NT manager I'm going to resign from the election. If you have voted for me thanks for your support but Baslx will probably do a much better job than I would :) Please switch your vote to him before the weekend so we don't end up with a rubbish coach.
