Baslx to All
Hello!

I was Swiss nt-coach this season (watch results if you want :-)). And I would like to have another challenge on nt-level. To try anything to qualify with Ireland for the world cup would be great!

If you have some questions about whatever, ask :-)

about tactics: I change them very often and try to find the gaps in the opponent's tactic.
See for example the match Scotland 2:4 Switzerland, where we did great due to a nice tactic. See other matches to see my different tactics.

I'm looking forward to your votes :-)

edit: example of a report I used to do for Switzerland

I won't do such a report for every match (but for the topmatches, I probably will)

intersting and best of luck to you... im more inclined to you now than that romanian guy as your english is better, plus iv come across you before, so i know you're active
2009-08-24 12:28:56
yeah, I would be active, I promise :-)

but not that active as now in Switzerland (for every match a thread with a quite detailed report.
But I would make a short introduce to every match and I would take my time to create the best tactic possible. (so that I'm convinced we may win with that tactic).

Some of you may know me from the time when Ganzengeile was coach :-)
I was his assistant then and already know some players.

good to see you applying here man. and best of luck in the campaign! i feel you might be applying a bit too late.. i would like more international managers coming into manage us to be perfectly honest, and build up our community that way, as we arent doing the best at building it ourselves!
2009-08-24 12:35:58
so vote for me and I'll see what I/we can do concerning the nt-community-part :D
2009-08-24 12:36:47
hahaha.. i will so - and best of luck answering everyone else's questions ;)
2009-08-25 00:56:21
You've left it too late
2009-08-25 07:47:42
why?

There are still some days left to change one's opinion and to ask questions...

but maybe you're right, as there are not really many questions in here :-/

anyway, I would like to be your future nt-coach and I would do my best to achieve good results and to have an active community (concerning the nt-game)
2009-08-25 08:29:38
Had you applied last week Shane probably wouldn't have run. With only 5 days left I'm not willing to split the vote and risk one of the less desirables getting in. You would have got my vote if you hadn't tried to run in the USA first, we don't like being the runners up prize ;)

I'm like Neo in The Matrix, I've spent so much time in this game I've been absorbed into the code like some omni-present Sokker God!
2009-08-25 11:32:14
What are your thoughts on the qualifying group Ireland have got? How would you see it playing out?
2009-08-25 11:40:56
1. México 0 0 0 0 0-0 0
2. Slovensko 0 0 0 0 0-0 0
3. Ireland 0 0 0 0 0-0 0
4. India 0 0 0 0 0-0 0
5. Guatemala 0 0 0 0 0-0 0
6. Jamaica 0 0 0 0 0-0 0

well... the group is very strong.
Mexico is a very good team, but you could have faced better teams. Anyway, I guess you can't expect to get any points against them. Maybe a draw with a very good tactic.

Slovensko is very good too. Their squad is better then the Swiss one. Watch for example their striker Adolf Lehota... Their mids and defs are very strong too.

But well, as my aim would be to achieve the world cup, we would have to get some points against them.

India and Guatemala are actually quite strong too. But no question, against these teams you have to get 12 points.

Jamaica: they are way too bad to win a single wc-qualifying game.

all in all it's a quite difficult group, but that's the challenge :-)

The 3 below us won't cause any problems, the 2 above will be very difficult to get results from. Slovensko hammered us a few weeks ago, we beat Mexico last time we met (one of my best results) but that was a long time ago.

Good to see you don't have unrealistic expectations ;) I'm happy to step back and let you take charge this season- hopefully everybody who's voted for me will see this in time to switch to you :)
