There are still 3 games to play.

Already now I would like to thank you for your interest for the Irish national team. It was a good season (imho), we played some great matches but all in all we have to admit that there is still a long way to go till Ireland can and will qualify for a world cup.

I won't run for a second time, as I want to give another manager the chance to try his best for the national team. I've got an excel file with the best players and their skills and if the new coach wants, I would give him this file and support him wherever he needs help.


There are some really active users here in Ireland and I'm convinced that the interest for the national team will get bigger as the games against the big teams will get closer and closer.

its improving slowly alright.. Nin's lack of interest at the moment is gonna be a bit of a hit, but im hoping we can slowly improve anyway...

great season also i think..grats and thanks after the shaky start (not being on for the first game or being able to set tactics :P)

was great that you put a good effort in, and gave a detailed report before every match and afterwards where necessary. thanks mate!

My lack of interest should be balanced out by a decent team not being auto-relegated next season. As it happens I wouldn't have been able to pay much attention to this game next season anyway, new job starts tomorrow.

Was a good season, good community, good matches.
Unfortunately we didn't qualify... but well... the gap is simply to big :-/

Basically data entry, tax stuff. I'm fine with being paid to be bored.

I'd be tempted if no one else goes for it. I'd still like to have a go at getting the u21's into the WC at some stage
