Hi all- As everyone else seems to have started a topic on how they should be NT coach here's mine :)
Rather than promising the world in general terms if elected this is what I plan on doing specifically-
1. Change the system of selection from player ratings, which can a lot of the time give a false figure if a player isn't too involved, to one directly based on skill levels.
2. To be able to select like this a NT database of players needs to be put together. This isn't a huge job as we have a shortage on quality players compared to bigger nations- all that's needed is co-operation from Irish users. With this information we should be able to put together a much stronger team with a formation tailored towards our strengths.
3. Identify the positions where players aren't being trained in at the moment, unless we do this we risk getting left behind by the other countries.
4. Qualify for the next World Cup :)
That's the basic idea- if anyone has any questions or suggestions let me know, and whoever you do vote for make sure he's Irish :)

There are now more candidates for NT manager than there are players in Ireland :) Wonder what happens if everyone gets 1 vote ;)
This NT database. [Nice idea] How would you go about creating it? Would you do it yourself?
Thanks :) As long as other Irish users don't mind sending on their relevant player details to me it would be a pretty simple job. Incorporating future NT prospects that are in training would be the next step after that.
I was thinking as well about the problem that people might be worried that I would get an unfair advantage through knowing their best players. What I could do is send details on the same number of my NT prospects whenever I get players submitted to me, that way everyone's on a level playing field...

I'd support that. It'd be a good idea to take note of secondaries of youth pulls. That way when they're trained out foreign we'll know the least of their abilities and be able to judge their main ability on what their being trained.
