im guessing team strenght will vary every few weeks but there are always going to be very strong teams.. currently i have 9 players only :P

my favourite is turnipfish - sultans of ping

this is also good as we can see more people who dont participate on forums youth schools, and i think it will get more people involved in youthschools and having a good one :)

How is it going to work? There are currently 15 teams in the Irish league. The Polish league has over 500, obviously everyone isn't going to play everyone else.

From the news: Every week the rounds are generated randomly. The league table is divided in half, top half teams play each other, lower half league teams also play each other.

So you won't necessarily play everyone, you're just gonna have 14 matches, against whoever it is ...

Could you end up playing the same team more than once?

I was thinking about that aswell and I'd say yes.
The matches are generated randomly, so I assume it doesn't take into account who you already played against ...

You can set orders for next weeks junior matches now. I've got athletico in my first junior and senior team matches

Done - Difficult to know who to play in what position. Also whether to play older youths to win or younger youths to increase potential....and whether to pick players with a long time to pop or players just about to pop....

I suppose it's a balance between not playing players who wont arrive for ages and trying to figure out where to play the guys arriving in 3-4 weeks before they leave

At the moment I think I'm playing with the best juniors available (according to their skill) because I know the talent of most of them.

But in the future it might get difficult to decide, but I think I'm always gonna play with the best ones.

same... i uusally only a small squad anyway.. infact i have 11 players, all outfield :P

Well, maybe you'll get a GK in the next few weeks. You could keep him for the junior matches even if he isn't good enough to get any money when pulled ;-)
I think I'd do the same, in 3 weeks I don't have any GK anymore even though I have 28 juniors in my school ...

To save me fishing around loads of different threads etc could someone sum up the following:

- What is the benefit to winning junior matches? Minor effect on main fan mood, plus junior gate receipts?
- Do your juniors train better if you play them in the right position, or if you play them in more friendly matches?
- The new junior graphs look totally different, with ups as well as downs - WTF??

1) fan mood effect.. not sure about gate reciepts, but yeah..i think there is a minor showing...
2) no extra training benefit. if they get injured in matches it doesnt matter.. its just there so you can see your juniors and get a judge if they have pace etc... im not sure if they get ratings etc...

3) graphs are based on head coach and his skill.. the better he is the better the accuracy of the skills...
playing in matches increases a juniors graph being accurate, so thats a benefit of playing them - and makes decisions about selection harder maybe...
overall, talent will be average of those pops i.e he goes from good-incredible in 24 weeks -> talent 4 (6 pops in 24 weeks)
its just going to make talent harder to be seen in juniors
