consider getting rid of players that dont have at least one skill at average (some say evey good) and then hire young players below 20 that fit your training scheme.
go slowly though especially with purchasing, money are hard to come by in the starting weeks and months of the game...
good luck :)

you also might want to hold off on buying players til you get to about 500k. that way you can use a chunk of in on a very good player as opposed to regularly buying average plavers.
and welcome to the game btw :)

ok, thanks for thje advice. How much would you recommend spending on a trainee? I see there arent very many irish players up for sale
At the start you just want to make sure you have enough young players for whatever you're training. You can pick up players for peanuts who will benefit from training and sell them on once you can afford and know what to look for in good trainees.
The best way to get good Irish trainees is through your youth school. It will take a while before you have the economy for a good coaching setup but it's still worth opening up some spaces in the hopes of getting a gem. Talent makes a huge difference in training speeds so keep an eye out for players that pop in levels quicker than others.

hello there! think im getting to grips looking around this, playing my first friendly this evening
Have just joined and would definitely find a 'newbie' forum useful - not just for Ireland but maybe English language. I guess people decide quite quickly whether they can get to grips with the game or not and a forum draws you in.
Just noticed we've been on the 24 user mark for a good while now. 2 more waiting to join.
That's pretty good.
I think our highest ever was 31 though.
i Guess Internet gaming is more of a winter thing.
