Just some ideas for ver 2.0
I think the irish owners thing should just be for players getting full training.
I own 4 old irish defs that are not within a country mile of ever doing anything for ireland. no need for points for them

Also i think the youth spaces should have a factor for average level & possibly average age (not much point having 30x20yr old poor players)

Is that bonus for Irish U21 players, just for current players or anyone who has previously made the U21's? (I'll take it that it's just for current players, for now).

I was considering putting an age limit on normal Irish players instead of only including those with training. Really though I wouldn't expect anyone to keep a player just because of this thing and if nothing else it's encouragement to try and upgrade, train and prioritise those who could join the main squads over those who are too old. I might change it in future.

Tha average age thing is a good idea but I'd like to keep it simple for now. Average level should be a result of the Youth coach and that's already 66% of the marks. I don't really want to get into telling people who to pull or sack because we're not pulling enough youths as it is.

Just current nationals and just players you own now.

im averaging about 5 players per season at the moment, but theyre usually high skill when i do get them and high talent...
with this new age thing i seem to be limiting it by age more than anything.. still keeping numbers lowish at the moment in school though so its not too bad...

I've not worked out a system yet. Talent seems impossible to judge so I've been getting rid of youths based on their age and current level.
I've got some interesting players but they won't be coming any time soon apart from a Brilliant/Magical in 2 weeks. I expect someone in Ireland to buy him

and yeah.. at the moment.. bar from guys i had before whos talent i know and who are coming out high, i have noone new coming out above 19..and only 1 at 19 at that even i think...

talent seems to take a while to sort out.. apparently from intl forums, its not one match that sorts out their level, but playing them in a few matches consecutively makes their level a lot more accurate.. so im hoping thats true

Yep high expectations. We can't keep letting our best players go outside to clubs that won't/can't train them properly. I'm intending on bringing in Rick Dull for 3 weeks to sort his stamina, depending on how much he goes for. The guy is triple Brilliant, 22 and is only able to play 45 minutes. I was hoping a foreign coach would sort him out but they can't be relied on.

Just passed here and saw this topic , realy nice idea Nin , i like it (obviously this is the same as i think , the only way small sk nations can have a good and strong NT is by building a strong local base first and investing in junior school , means players trained at their home country)

I wouldn't bet on him getting it. He's never sold for more than 2.5mil before. Money isn't really an issue for me anyway, I've 52mil sitting in my account.

players are going dirt cheap at the moment, especially strikers.. hes not worth it...
