No takers for thwaites, given his skills, i will keep him for a while and see how talented he is. He can easy be an U-21 player.

McKeever has dropped skills lately (pace and tech), if i thought i would get anything near 3.5-4 i would sell him but dont think so, so the plan is probably to keep him forever (unless someone comes back interested). I absolutely kept McKeever too late but just liked having a great NT striker.....

Jaaaazus, strikers are going for a lot at the moment. Based on the current TL prices, Salmon could probably fetch 10-15 mil on a good day (Unearthly, magical, magical at 22y)

totally overheated market... i want to buy 1 for about 1 season but prices keep staying that high.

depends on the age you're looking at :)

iv already looked at 21-22yr players. its generally not worth training them for profits. main benefit if you end up with good first team players with no loss

he wont fetch you higher return in 2 seasons alright i guess you are right.
strikers dont usually go for higher than 10m... maybe 12m if highish secondaries

No plans to sell anyway. Making sure we'll have a top striker for the NT who'll last 5-6 seasons is the aim. Should be x3 divine when he's 24 so happy days :D

sell to end sunday evneing as there is always a few poeple who needs a striker last minute + its hugely important game
i had said 2 seasons ago you would be rebuilding soon mate. once players hit 29 in my team they go out the door as value drops sharply after that. i filter all purchases to ignore players above 28

@ken - so get him to magical/unearthly in tech and then give him passing training I suppose

@sarumaac - you would beat me if I sold him to you...need to see what I am doing with my team. Thinking of getting rid of all my old players and starting afresh with some NT hopefuls....would mean I would be uncompetitive for a few seasons...(although I am not competitive at the moment anyway as I sold all my strikers and am playing my 2 old mids upfront....)

you are right though we do need mids but he can play in central diamond even.
i think tech is not crucial to be max until decision is made.
caims also was good last i saw. and few others. we have ok team at nt level but again no depth and rely heavy on certain players.
there has been very few strong youth players now for many seasons though :/
