is darren talented?

He is but I've not calculated it in a couple of weeks. I know it's significantly under 4.

I'm considering whether I can keep him. My pace training won't harm him and he should get tech from me eventually, failing that he could be sold at a later date. It's just a matter of timing when I switch from passing to pace.

imo he should be moulded into a mid.we have a decent defence coming through which will cover the NT, and im sure this and next season will throw out loads more defender trainees.. its not often a highly talented guy who has the potential to be a mid comes through the ranks.
iv got 10M to splash at the moment. a lot will go on a striker i guess, and then im looking to pick up a few irish trainees i guess...not really sure...as i need older guys preferably who can fit into the first team...

I think it'd be a waste trying to mould him into a midfielder when he's probably the best rounded defender prospect we've got.

i guess you should sell darren as soon as possible.
he will get +2/3 random tech till 21, and adequate tech is not so bad at u21 level. i think +3 defender is more important like +3 tech. :)

just an example. one of my player, who was in hungarian squad last season. he is more usefull with 2*15 + good tech like 2*14 + excellent tech
