Subject: [NT] Carna

Hey all,

through this topic I give you my candidature for NT election.

NT Experience:

2x Belgium NT coach
5x China NT coach

Not much time at the moment, but I will have time soon.. I participated since there aren't much experienced candidates for now. If you don't find any other suitable candidate, I'd be glad to take over this national team.

Let me introduce myself very briefly. I am Carna and I have been playing this game for 4 years now. During that period I managed to gain a lot of experience if it comes to tactical and managing skills. I have been doing assistant work for quite a while and some seasons ago I took the shot of being NT coach..

For the moment I have managed China for 5 seasons in which I have completed the national team database with quite a lot of suitable and talented Chinese players. We increased our rating from 40 tot almost 70 now thanks to excellent scouting work. In the same period I managed to become coach of my own country, Belgium. In those 2 seasons I honestly didn't achieve what I had to. But I gained an awful lot of tactical experience on top NT level and I did manage to beat some stronger countries and achieved a draw against Poland. ;-)

For now, I am hungry to become NT coach of a team which can use my tactical skills to achieve some nice results. Ireland seems to have a very powerful squad with some valuable players. And at this point I will be honest with you, I don't have any clue of the strength/weakness of this squad but like I said, I am hungry to learn and share my tactical skills with you!

As many future NT coaches already booked all firendlies for next season, it could be nice for the future NT coach to get also all the friendlies already booked now or soon ? What do you think ?

I could already have an agreement to play against France on week1 or 2 (i don't remember when i write now). Maybe we can find to play with Norge and Belgium for instance too no ?

No problem. I noticed there wasn't any appropriate candidate yet, so I took the shot. In the end Ireland ends up with a decent coach, so I'm okay with it. ;-)

I'll just put a copy here of what I said earlier on in the elections topic.

I'd like to present myself aswell. I already tried last season, but I lost the elections after a draw. Tiordenskold had been playing sokker for a longer period than me, sadly. ;) Anyway, I was very grateful for those 3 votes I got then en it gave me strenght to try again for upcoming season. Nothing changed in the meantime, nevertheless I gained some extra experience and managed to win the Belgian Cup against uberweak Langhe.. I ended first in 2nd division for the second time in a row. As you know, I do have some experience on top NT level already since I coached Belgium NT for 2 seasons. I have been coach of China aswell for about 5 seasons. I hope this shows I am well motivated to get some nice results with Ireland. Thanks again anyway.

I'm leaving on a skiing holiday the day after tomorrow, so I won't be able to answer any questions from then on. I'll be back next Saturday. I really hope this won't ruin my chances at NT elections, because as you can see, I am well motivated, I've got the experience on NT level and I really want to get some nice results with this team. Good luck to the new coach anyway and thanks for every vote I might get in the end.

Lol, I like your comments mate, pretty straight to the point. :p To be honest, I'm not that into rugby so I'd still prefer a skiing holiday if I'd have to chose.. Imo the perfect way to overcome the stress of the past examinations. ;-)
