I guess we cant start booking matches before we have a winner right? But whoever wins should absolutely cooperate with the U21 coach.

i think there shouldnt be an issue.
especially as he says... if we organise matches against each of the main candidates national teams then its ok...

Absolutely. But its the Irish sokker commumity that really should establish a buddy system. What that means is that experienced managers welcomes new managers and help them the first couple of weeks so that they're not scared away by the complexity of the game.

EDIT: And that will ensure better and more teams in the long run :)
