Schedule and tabela

The 2012 European Championship, hosted by Poland and Ukraine, begins on the 8th June. Therefore, we have decided to bring Euro 2012 to Sokker, through creating a special friendly league, Euro 2012 Simulation with teams for each country, to simulate every match, on the mornings just before the real match is played.

A forum, European Championship 2012, has been created where there will be threads for all the matches, created with polls, where you can predict who will win the whole championship. However, it will also be used to discuss the matches and the championship in general, it will not just be for squad discussion (see below).

On the same forum, there will be threads created for each team participating in the Euro Championship with squads and discussions on the skills, advantages and disadvantages of every player. We have implemented a system to convert real players to the Sokker database, every skill has a value between -3 and +3, then the player transfer values, taken from transfermarkt or similar sites, is acquired and converted to a Sokker transfer value, basing that value on the skill advantages and disadvantages of that player.

The National Teams for the European Championship 2012, will be controlled by the current Sokker National Team coach, they are obligated, under threat of exclusion from that team, to set official squads and tactics as similar as that of the real teams, to get a possible realistic result simulation and prediction for every match.

Players are created by Admins based on skill proportions and Transfermarkt.de value.

Each skill can be described as a value from -3 to +3. -3 means that this skill is a weakness of this player, +3 means a strength, 0 means something in the middle :) and so on.

Value -3 doesn`t mean tragic skill. It will be proportionally lower than value specified as +3. We assumed that real players are not as much specialized as Sokker players, so skills should not differ drastically.

Default skill are all even. You can give +3/+2/+1 if some skill should be higher than other skills of this particular player, and -3/-2/-1 if some skill should be lower.
So you set proportions between skills. Transfermarkt value is used to scale this proportions to desired level.

If you set all skills +3 or all skills -3 you will get the same result - all skills equal.

Admin enters agreed skill proportions and Transfermarkt.de value (we won`t discuss this value, we have to assume it is objective) and based on this factors, Sokker skills are calculated.

unfortunately uefa deleted the full 6 min video of german tv transmission with silent commentator tom bartels, who is cheered by many now in germany http://www.11freunde.de/artikel/danke-irland

usually our live commentators are shit, so it was really a big surprise.
