pace never goes astray anyway when they are young. also makes them look more appreciable when you have a high skill as often people set minimum search criteria.
you could get a bit for that 16yr old though at the moment. i dunno how much as its hard to predict those ages. hes a defender though i think and the 17yr is a striker.

While the wasted defender skill is a bit frustrating, I am happy enough. I dunno whether to train him for a couple of pops in Tech and then sell or just sell now. Any thoughts?

defender is never wasted on strikers. seems like a perfect trainee for me. i would keep him and hope for some passive pops as well.

True a decent level of defender definitely helps a striker but considering he is nearly 20 I would have preferred a little higher Pace. Maybe I am just being greedy!
