Against Russia we were better (have more shoots) but our defence and striking weren't good. That's why we lost that match.


And because of that yesterday's match was our last chance but it seemed to be quite unrealistic. Yesterday Russia won 3-1 and we had to beat Norway with 2 goals to get direct promotion. We didn't deserve it (it was our worst match so far, but the opponent was strongest than teams we have faced).

This result gave us promotion from 3rd place (as the best team from 3rd place). Next Saturday we will play against Moldova. :)

Sorry for not writing for so long but have been really busy lately.


To sum up:
We finnished Mini World Cup as a best team from 3rd places in groups and we got promotion to 1/8. Unfortunately we lost then against Moldova which finally was 2nd at this tournament. We were better then them but we lacked luck. But still that was good appearance on a tournament.


Then we played two friendlies: U27 team against Russia which ended with a 2-2 draw and firm win against El Salvador last week (2-0).



Now we are facing another challenge - we will play in U27 European Championship (Flow B). That means that we will not play with the strongest so that's good, because we can work on our ranking (which has improved for 200 points and 5 position since you chose me) and check some younger players. Rules say that we are allowed to use 3 U29 players. Fortunately we have some players aged 25-27 which are quite good already. Let's see what happens. Today we start the torunament against Ukraine.

Last Saturday we played against Ukraine and the score was boring 0:0. There was really a few chances, the game was mainly in the middle sectors of the field. But I still think we were unlucky and hit the post and the bar (once when there was no GK...).

That was nice accordingly we used a lot of U27 players and they will become better for next season and real challenge - WC Qualifications.

Tomorrow we are playing match against Kypros. I don't know what to expect as they use tactic which I think is fully inspired on currect World Champios - Hungary. We'll see how will it work - as every week I'll preapare special tactic for that match but such tactics are unpredictable -thats why Hungary totally neutralised Poland in WC semi-finals. C'mon! Let's win! :)

Yesterday we have played the best match this season and it was the highest win. We beat Kypros 4-1. Everything went like I wanted to.

I did some special set in tactic and thanks to it we scored these goals. :) I am verry happy with the result. We gained point to ranking and now are in safe place which will give us 4th pot in draw. 3rd pot is unfortunately impossible but we will our best to keep improving.

Next week we play with Russia. I think we are destined for each other as I arranged a friendly with them and later in Mini World Cup and U27 European Championship we were drawn in one group. So that will be third time we face them this season. In first match we lost 0-1, in second - it was draw 2-2 and now I hope we will beat them.

We play better and better. Today we beated Russia 6-1. Unfortunately in officials it would be treated like w.o. for Russia, because I accidentally put a 28y winger to play as a DEF.

Luckily that doesn't matter - that's only friendly tournament. The most important is the ranking and we are getting higher again!

Yesterday we faced Shqiperia. Weaker team than ours and because of that I decided to play full U27 squad. But we don't have "international level" forward at this age. That's why we lost. We were better but the U27 team is not too goog without older players.

Next week we will play with 3 U29 players as we are allowed and the score will definitely be better!

I have decided to move to another country as you silence is killing me here. I wish all the best to Ireland and I hope that position in ranking we reached is good enough to do this.

I have update the whole database so the next coach will have much easier work at the beginning than I had. Good luck!
