Match introduction:



Maska kindly asked for a friendly match so to salute and I've been glad to accept, as for my first match leading Ireland, also inviting for Mini World Cup partecipation, as its organizer.
He did great in Ireland qualifies and now is leading an NT with greater human resources, but the team quality is much similar to our one.

A small historical note, there is an ancient rivalry between Italy and Austria, especially during the tumultuous period of the Italian Risorgimento for the birth of the Kingdom of Italy, in fact, it is recalled in the final words of the Italian national anthem.
At the present moment, relationships between the two countries are much more friendly and prone to tourism, with a common appreciations for stunning green mountains panorama for both of them. Same as there are in the emerald Ireland, of course.

So, It will be a stimulating challenge, in personal search of just a first step to take confidence with the team and all of you, as attendance.

I like the highlights video :)

We were unlucky not to score a few more goals, especially in the first half.

Let's comment funny this first match:

Well, now more seriously.

A good first start to get feeling with team's potential, vs a strong team in full form state.

The Irish team has showed its stuff, we could slightly deserve a victory, having shot several times in closerange from first minutes, when scoring would have been normal.

Better luck next time, now lets get back to work. Now that managing issues are well started, there will be more time to focus on organizing next match.

Good match, congratulations on a successful debut. Effectiveness was lacking.
Big and I would even say huge plus for the video.
I haven't watched a 3D match for a long time so it's nice to see something different on this site.

I'll say it again... it's nice to see such enthusiasm from someone in the game. It's really nice to read and watch it.

About luck....yeah we could score from the very first action but Banker the superstriker....has shot from two yards distance and litterally aiming at the goalie's face, injuring him.

We're gearing up for our debut in the Mini World Cup, and the excitement is through the roof! This Saturday, we'll be facing off against Cymru, a team that's been led by a skilled Italian coach for many years. It's going to be a boot derby as all the English-speaking teams, including Ireland, New Zealand, and Cymru, are guided by Italians! And let's not forget about the great Germany, favoured in our group.

While we may be seen as the favorites on paper, let's not underestimate the prowess of our opponent. Every match will count, so let's get ready to give it our all and show our determination on the field!

In this debut, I'm aiming to show me skills and lead our team to a mighty victory, proving that our spirit is fierce as ever! No doubt, I'm looking forward to this contest!

Coach's comment on this match:

We played on a minigolf field! What seemed like a quiet friendly tournament turned into a game on a neighborhood pitch that resembled more of a Swiss cheese, so much were the holes present, making it quite challenging to play long passes accurately, with the ball bouncing like it was oval-shaped. Laughing it off, we played a cautiously meticulous game to secure the three points against a tough opponent who was skilled at countering any move, from what we observed. First Banker and then Gannon showcased their skills, doubling our lead, while the defense hardly conceded anything. There were a few tactical hiccups that didn't weigh heavily on a final score that greatly rewards our efforts; hitting the post several times, we could have easily scored 4-5 goals. The great news is that we've started on the right foot, needing three sure points, and we've also preserved the health of our players, in a period where the infirmary is already packed. We'll aim to provide more entertainment in the future, but the enjoyment of the game was clearly ruined by the truly appalling conditions of the playing field. Now, straight to work for the big match against Germany!

We're gearing up for the showdown with Germany next Saturday! The World Cup has just begun, and we're tied for second place with the strongest team in the tournament. Their coach is also a seasoned player with multiple international titles under his belt, so it's going to be a massive challenge. Our team is ready, with several players back in action after serving suspensions or recovering from minor injuries. With three points already in the bag, we can approach the match with the right spirit. I'm counting on your support and cheers!
