very true, ive made sure that the players the new users, that have now gone, were called up and then sold on to keep them moving and improving. I have a couple of days off work so will look over the U21s and see what we have and what needs training/improving.
bit the bullet and took the last place, tough with the lack of depth but prepares us for the next cycle (sorry to those with current 21yrs as they might not get much NT action!)
Had a bit of time over the last few days to experiment with something vs Senegal this weekend (which i expect will go terribly) and we had a good week of pops across the board but as always if you aren't getting minutes on your Irish youngsters please stick them up for sale before i burn my spare cash on trying to draft a better coach :)

A good win against a team a few places above us in the rankings, think my idea to rely a bit more on our good defence and get some more attackers in was right but our lines were a bit off to fully capatalise.

Just a few thoughts from me:
-GK is light but im trying to get Frank Counihan moving quickly!
-DEF should be ok for now but we lose 3 current starters at the end of the year and the younger guys lack passing and are just defenders.
-Mids is pretty good, not losing much and now have a couple of wingers to use.
-STR. The bane of my time as manager! Adams is the main guy and Geoghegan is ok, i wanted to buy McAleese but was outbid last year and don't love his development. Am very much hoping todays pull of Shawn "the saviour" Christie is talented and can take the goalscoring mantle on.
I think we are down to the lowest number of active users since i started, so not much of a pool to choose from so i really appreciate everyone that runs a youth school and trains the youger guys. Just a case of trying to get the maxium out of what we have and the odd jewel can spring up to build the team around (Devenney is a good example)

Only asking as Devenney is way lower than his actual so wondering if he's not updated correctly for skills as well.

Oh ok, i guess that it is in £ as its through my login/account and matches up when i click on Devenney. Hope that doesn't confuse everyone too much
oh yeah.. Not sure what happened to the 18/19/20 keepers, Counihan has popped quite regularly so hopefully he can fill the void eventually, but could be a bit of an issue for the Druids cup. Always likely to be gaps with only 8 youth schools.
