I salute the Irish community!
First of all I want to congratulate Antoś for the good job he has done into the last seasons by qualifying the nation to the World Cup. As well, congrats to this small community for training hard and offering such an excellent support for the national team managers (NT and U21).

I am Clau, Romanian user, playing sokker since 2005. Currently I am playing into the 3rd league of Romania, finishing 6th into the standings.
I am a fresh bronze winner into the World Cup with Romania.

It would be an honor to be assigned for the position of manager for the Ireland NT.

In my NT career I have been the manager of:

- 1 season NT manager of UAE NT
- 2 seasons manager of Nigeria U21 NT
- 6 seasons manager of Cymru NT known as Wales (3rd place, almost qualified to the World Cup)
- 6 seasons manager of Australia NT (3rd place, almost qualified to the World Cup)
- 4 seasons manager of Canada NT (3rd place, almost qualified to the World Cup)
- 3 seasons manager of Sverige (qualified to the World Cup)
- 4 seasons manager of Danmark(qualified to the World Cup)
- 1 season manager of Norge
- 10 more seasons manager of Danmark NT (qualified the team 4 more times to the World Cup)
- 3 seasons manager of New Zealand (finished 2nd in the group, close to World Cup)
- 3 seasons manager of Danmark
- 2 seasons manager of Crna Gora (qualified to the World Cup)
- 4 seasons manager of Romania (played one quarterfinal and one semifinal - bronze medal winner)
- adding as well around 14 seasons of scouting for both Romanian NT and U21

A total of 46 consecutive seasons as National team manager.

My objectives are:

- next season is qualification period, so main objective would be to keep up with the wonderful job and reaching the World Cup once more
- implementing new tactics, scouting for new players
- maintaining and improving the NT ranking
- ensuring a weekly up to date database of the NT players in Sokker Asistente app.
- buying and training Irish players as I did for all of the other NT I managed
- strong communication with the Irish sokker community, offering weekly news and reports about the team

It is my pleasure to congratulate you, as you did a wonderful job.

Question one: What formation are you planning to play?

I have my preferential format, but it all comes to who is the opponent and what players we have at our disposal. I can say that I prefer playing each time with a main tactic and an additional tactic in case we are down on the scoreboard. As a format 5312 - either with a offensive mid or the option with a winger, both can give plenty of goal chances,

Question two: And how long would you like to stay in Ireland?

My goal would be for start clearly from two to four seasons, at least. It all depends how my progress with the NT will be in the end.

Question one: Why have you decided to run for Ireland NT (versus any other country)?

I was very impressed by the quality Ireland had into the qualification and I followed the progress in each game. Furthermore, after reaching the World Cup, Ireland became by underdog fan.
I have mainly managed underdog teams, my only big gun team was Romania. It is a huge better feeling when you beat a top 10 team with a weaker team, mainly because the database is quite low, so the quality comes as well with the eye of the tactician. I like helping smaller communities, Crna Gora had 12 users when I managed them and we reached the World Cup finishing first in a group with Romania where we beat them two times with 2-1. I think Ireland's database is quite similar with the Montenegro database.

Question two: Are you comfortable managing a NT with a very limited active user base?

As mentioned above, I am very comfortable with limited active database. Canada, Australia, Sverige, Danmark, Crna Gora, they all have limited database. Scouting is very importing as well, finding the best players and future solutions. It all comes from the youth school, because the future of the Senior Team stands into the youth of every nation.

I doubt you'll be able to play with this formation with the current MIDs. But I wish you luck.

Thank you, Ron! It is going to be a pleasure to collaborate with all of you and I hope we can rise the level of the NT's.
Unfortunately, the nation has only 10 users, I will check how many are active and write to them sk-mails, even e-mails as I have access to their personal e-mails and check the level of their interest with the game.
Youth schools are the key to progress. Therefore, all players matter when dealing with a reduced database.

9 of the 10 are 'active'. One was a single log in. Some only log in a few times a week and one is only active once/twice a month but has a very good record of player development.

As far as I see, the active forum users are Ron, Welchy and Antoś. The others are maybe watching the forum, but are not communicating actively. Or they are not watching the forum at all. I will try to contact them to see the level of their coaches, for the ones who have a junior school and see if there can be improvements. On the other side I will try to see if the two users which do no have an open youth school would like to open one or if they have the necessary funds to do so. Financial statement is very important factor for such clubs.

As it is election time and candidates are not allowed to contact users via sk-mail, because it can be considered a voting approach, I will revise the user's list after the election period ends.

Today we have received the qualifying group to the next World Cup and we have a recent acquaintance.



France after winning the World Cup will have a new manager.
Venezuela did not qualify to the prior World Cup, but is keeping the same manager.
al-Jazā’ir keeps the same manager and I have played against them into the last qualifications, reaching an average mark over 70%.

Not an easy task, but I think is achievable with hard work, luck and inspired tactics.
