yay :)

11 of the current 36 in the Ireland squad originated from mine :)

Looking at your squad a lot more on the way as well :) I have a few juniors on the way that should be NT certs but I have a long way to go to catch up.

Whats a decent level for the juniors? I've got 6 coming up and i'm wondering whether they'll be good enough.

I aim for them to be at least solid when they come out, anything less is usually pretty useless.

The most important thing to look for though is how talented they are. Players with normal talent will gain a level about every six weeks in the junior school. Anything more and I usually junk them as they'll never amount to much.

The best talent I've seen is players that jump a level on average every 3.5 weeks. These guys will pop in training every week or two (up to about solid) as opposed to 4 or 5 weeks per level for less talented players. If you want to have a NT player thats what to look for.

Excellent. If theyre normal talent they should all come out as solid at worst.

Cool- try and identify the ones with good talent for training. They might not come out too hot but if they're 16 or 17 they'll catch up quick.

You won't find many high talent players on the transfer list so not only will you be doing your patriotic duty by training Irish players but you'll do a lot better out of training every week.

I've got Sokker Manager watching them.
I'll only be training them if they fit with what i'm training. Otherwise they'll be heading to someone who hopefully will train them. I've had a load of crap so far but then they were only average when i pulled them.

I've got a 'very good' comming through this week. Hopefully not a dud like the last one

let us know if u cant train a good talent player. generally keep my good ones and sell the bad ones

got an incredible and a formidable coming up next week myself

Would anyone have an objection to posting their juniors so we could monitor them?
Would there be any point to me making a thread for it? Is what i want to know.
2006-09-14 15:31:58
Junior threads that all players are posted in are very useful for future reference. We've had 1 going in England since 2/2/05 and it's useful to look back on the old players.

Any chance of passing the 4 applicants we've had waiting for at least the last week? I assume you have something to do with it.
2006-09-14 18:35:41
No, nothing to do with me. I'm not an admin.

I have my first magical youth coming up in 5 weeks. To say I'm excited about it is a bit of an understatement :)

Good idea to start posting juniors again, if for no other reason for me to be able to complain about the useless lumps coming through from mine :)
