Well, I answered to jirka's post. I know we have way much more users and you have only one season advantage which means is likely that we have better players.
Btw I'll use this kind of tactic against Croatia 'cause I know that our chances are very slight.

The one thing I think i could have done better was to position the strikers a little further up the field as jirka said "to break away".

Your chances are better than anyone elses in the group.

Nigeria got a goal today and we got one against them too so they are not invincible.

You have nothing to loose by going out and giving them a game.

I think you were spot on with that tactic fella- your best one so far and the teams best performance so far.

The difference in the end came down to quality which is the only thing you can't influence. I think with Fairclough and Matthews in form Jurkasz wouldn't be able to be so patronizing about this. I don't know how a guy with only one tactic can give criticisms on yours ;)

i didn't sow skills of Your players but i sugest to play with 3 midfilders in the midle(with high defence) and 2 wingers (or one winger)

i tested in this game a one wing her and he played very well:) (of course tactics from this match isn't perfect - it was only a test)

my wingner had v. good passes, and good playmaker. as You will see it was enough to play good crosses.

about strikers... I think that when You will want to play with wings You should prefer fast strikers with nice shoot. they should be fast to get quickly on good position when winger is crossing:)

It's a pity that it's taken me this long to get the defence in some kinda shape.

That 10-0 trouncing of Island by France is also a pity. Not likely they'll slip up against Nigeria.

I won't give them the game, but I favor a strong defense like last time. But we'll be more attacking than that match, and I've already corrected the mistake in the defense which gave them their goals.

Don't beat yourself up on it- nobody in Ireland uses proper formations so you've had a steep learning curve. You did your homework for today and put together a great formation to get a result. The strikers were perfectly in line a lot of the time, it was just a lack of quality meant you didn't get the reward you deserved.

I have a lot of tactics, but I like this very much, and it's very effective as you see ;)

Hence the ;) on my part :). The reason it's so effective is because you have some great players, it's pretty much a standard formation. There was no point in Executor trying to match you with a 442 as well so he had to try for counter attacking. Your defenders looked good against the strikers we had today, against strikers with pace and technique you would have had a lot more trouble.

Hopefully with you being a tactical genius and all, you can beat France again by a lot of goals and give us a chance for qualifying :)
