Subject: Help with training
i checked my coaches and market and i suggest you sack him once you find a replacement. For assistant or junior school you can easily find a formidable for 10-11 k/week.
Isn't that too much for a new team like steven's or mine. I'm currently paying about 8k to my main coach (unearthly stamina) and only about 2-3k to my other coaches.
i think it is, but it depends on your strategy. If you are planning to long-term invest in your junior school, it's worth it.

His wage is 12k per week though - is not not a bit much to be paying for an assistant?
Yes, absolutely!
I said that he will be a great "Coach of the junior team" (if you want to invest in the young school)....
(In my opinion) the wage of Head coach + wage of coach of the young team + wage of one assistant = max 20.000 €
p.s. in fact (for me) at the beginning you must buy only one assistant (solid coach if it's possible)

Debt is very hard to get out of in the beginning so try to spend the minimum. You need to increase your stadium really before you can afford good coaches.
What you can afford is a couple of coaches with at least one magical+ skill to keep you going. When you've trained as much as you can with one either fire and replace him with a different coach or move him to your juniors. I wouldn't bother spending much on players atm unless you desperately need some trainees.

its best to buy young players at the end of season when the prices are down.
I suggest you get a coach with unearty in your training skill, the difference in wage is small compared to magical and results are better.

Well I have €200,000 after the promotion bonus etc. Any advice on what I should do with it? I only have 6 junior spaces at the minute so I was thinking of increasing that and getting a better junior coach.

I think 6 spaces is fine for the moment. I'd be looking at bringing players in, Shane might disagree.
:) I would. 2 reasons to go with more juniors-
1- You can tell how talented they are by how often they pop in the school. The more talent, the faster they train so you end up with better players. Buying players is a total lottery. GB Rovers and to a lesser extent me have done it this way and we were 1 and 2 in the Prem last season...
2 - More Irish juniors means better Irish trainees and a better National team :)

I'm thinking from a financial point of view whether he can afford a decent junior school. He's also got to be able to compete with the team he has because the youngsters wont be any good to him for another couple of seasons at least, thats providing he can even get good ones.
This game is all about long term planning. Personally I'd take the hit now and start building a team for the future. A 200k signing now or a solid junior coach with 12 places? The important thing is to fire the juniors that don't pop in 6 weeks to free spaces for better ones.
Its only in the last week that i've realised that i'm being ripped off by my coaches. I'm paying just over 40k for the 3 of them. I never noticed the transfer market and bought them off selector thing. Should free up a whole load of money now :)
Invest some of the money in the stadium so they eventually come back to you in tickets sold.
Oh yeah, about the stadium. The stands behind the goal and in the corner dont bring in as much money so keep them as terraces until you've got big crowds coming in. If you're going to build i'd start there with about a 1000 in each section. Should only cost about 60k
Well I am up for a more longterm strategy, especially as I rate my team to be the best in my league. Whether I qualify will be merely down to how often I get online (I cockily predict)
My junior coach is excellent, and is costing 12k (Oops!) so I will change him. Is it only coach skill that counts for junior coach? Think I picked that up somewhere...
Got 9 places in my junior school too. And with my current coaches wages of about 25k, I am just about hanging in there financially, and expect things to improve next season when crowds pick up, juniors start coming through etc
