dudave [del] to All
hello all!

i'm dave, 28 y/o from israel, i'v been playing sokker
for only slightly more than a season now but i consider
my knowledge in the game better than most people that
played that amount of time.

if i get elected i plan of mostly play with young players, trainable
ones, and participate in the "mini world cup" for players under 21
wich is supose to start right after the world cup is finished.

my record is less impressive than it sounds, 33-1 since
i joined the game, but i played a lot of bot team last season.

if you have any questions for me, feel free to post them here.

good luck to all the other candidates.

Dudave is a bit modest, he's also the MOD from Israel and was personally responsible for adding a HUGE number of users to Israel's community in a very short time.

thanks man

a new idea has come to life today, about low ranked teams, small and new nations in sokker.

the idea is to create a tournament for those teams in order to play with u-22 or u-21, this way those teams could benefit from both playing with yougsters and potentialy advancing in world rank.

what do you think about that?

and as for the other candidates, would you agree with this?

I think it's a good idea for the new countries but i dont think it would benefit us. The rankings dont do us any favours at the moment and i think we should be aiming to compete with those above us instead of aiming low. I'd rather concentrate of getting the 1st team right instead of the younger players, who will come through when they're good enough.

Yeah, Nin is right.

And besides It's a great feeling to beat someone 100 times bigger than you.

ranking is always important, the lower your rank is,
the stronger the team that you are going to face in the
qualification phase of WC

and i think it's a big part of what is thr friendly season about,
to improve rank and prepare the next generation

I've been looking at the teams above us in the rankings and i think we're defnitely capable of beating anyone up to about 30th.

yeah, definitely.
All we need now is a decent manager:)

Our ranking really suffered this season due to a lack of strength in depth up front when our first choice guys bombed out in form. I reckon Nin is bang on with his assessment if that doesn't repeat itself.

about the idea of the "new countries tournament" here is the topic

quiet a lot of managers are intrested already and this tournament will
probably open. now about ireland i think it would be great
for you as you are going to be one of the strongest team in this
tournament, it will provide you the oportunity to play with your
u-21 team and to gather some nice wins as well wich will
positivly affect the ranking.

on the other hand if ireland doesn't join this tournament you have to
take in mind that in the other tornament are going to be less weak
teams, and it's going to be veryhard to win games and advance in ranking.

i think whoever is going to be elected must consider this issue.

I stick by what i've said. I'd rather concentrate on getting the first team right and competing against full strength teams than aim low and end up learning nothing about who or how we'd play when the qualification comes round again.
Most of the big teams will be busy with the world cup this season which leaves us free to play those who missed out. If they want to play U-22 then they're welcome to but i intend to play the strongest team we have available. I dont think our youth team is that strong either so it would be of no benefit to us.
