Subject: Possible U-22 Match Vs Hungary 25th Nove

Jirkas advice on not overplaying Matthews has done wonders for his form, he hit incredible today. It's a pity I didn't know this before the qualifications :(

If you win Nin (touch wood) players like Cryan, Keenan and Armstrong can hopefully be sorted out by some judicious selection between you and the club managers. It might be tough, especially with the cup going on at the start of the season but with our pool of players we need to give ourselves any advantage we can.

Thanks again Jirka for pointing out the bleeding obvious :)

Thats another reason for taking easier games at the start. With the cup running our form could suffer. Thankfully it's only friendlies.
If i get in it will most likely be obvious what the first team will be. Once i'm set with the strongest 11 i like i wont be changing them unless needed. I'd have no problem resting players if people want them for the friendlies as long as i've got adequate backup.

Make sure and get onto the International Forum and book friendlies as soon as you can

How far in advance do/can you book them?

If Nigel Maguire (Drogheda) gets added to the national squad is there any chance of him being placed on the transfer market? He's one of our best young defenders and he's going to waste at a bot team that will likely never drop low enough to be replaced.

An NT players is sent to market only when a team is taken over by another manager. In this case Im afraid he's lost.

Like many many others, our NT coach was banned last season and Czech, Sweden and one more country lost their NT players playing for his team...

It's a verbal agreement with the other Coach. So well in advance caused I got screwed a couple of times.

I'm having trouble setting the line-up for tomorow.

Any one else having that problem?
Setting line-ups in general.

All seems fine for me, if it's setting tactics it could be that you don't have space to create a new one.

Yeah i noticed we were supposed to be playing Wales recently.
I've got about 15 competitive teams that i'm interested in playing but i want a few easy ones to start off with.
I just want to get on with it now. I'm all set-up and there's a lot to get done before next saturdays game.

Excellent! U22, eh???

After three seasons as NT coach, I wanted a nice last match with a win, but after I saw your starting eleven, I recognized that it will be a huge loss.

I'll never forgive you for that!

Bye

Sorry about that, I don't think theres an explanation i can give that would be satisfactory.

I guess I'll have to watch my back next time I'm in Hungary.

Gongrats on victory! Nothing like Terry Matthews in form :)

I've following the NT games for quite some time and even though i know you guys all thing he is a national hero, i must say i believe you have better strikers in Ireland than Fairclough. Dont know his skills, but it must be his defending, PM or technique are all or some of them low, but he seems unable to recieve passes and even if he does, he looses the ball immediately, not just today, but match after match.

Anyway i think Executor has chosen good formation today and he is improving the NT tactics every game and i wish next season someone will continue this good work.

Pity the Hungarian coach didn't know it was not u22, but i remember it was stated here in the forums long time ago.
