Hm...I'm looking to win almost all games this season :). Just 1-2 games with better teams, like England or Brazil to check lvl of team. :)

I think it's been mentioned on this forum that with the cup games, form will drop if players are playing 3 games a week. I'm going to try and rotate the squad until the cup is over so we dont have anyone playing 6 games a fortnight.

Yeah we'll be looking to win all our games as well. I wont be playing anyone i dont think we can beat although there are a couple i'm looking at because i want them to test our defence out.

Form is almost totally random.

Anyway, what's the idea to use a player in both league game and friendly if he's good enough to play in NT?

While the cup is running people will be wanting to put out a full strength team twice a week and it makes sense that form would drop if they're playing 3 games a week. It's already been discussed that form has been shown to drop if they're playing that much. Providing we've got good enough replacements i'm happy to switch between players if it keeps them in form.

Hm...maybe. :)

And 3 games...it sometimes helps, someone has bad influence on form...same as injury - form often gets a lot better.

Done. I've sent more mails in the last 9 hours than i have in all the time i've been here. Getting stats on players, arranging friendlies etc. I've not even started on the players in Ireland yet.

Not exactly the two teams i had in mind to start with but these buggers talking about a newbie cup or an U-21 cup have made it difficult to get a game. Nevertheless we should win both of these, we just wont big as big a rise in the rankings as i would have liked. We need to be about 30th by the time the groups come around.

Belarus isn't that weak.

Russia Will be tough enough.

I'm having trouble editing the database, I have the origional that Shaneteam sent me, and I can't change the info on it.

I can do up a database on microsoft access.

What it is is a list of players and their stats but you'll prpobably be getting those Sk Mailed to you.

Can't say I agree with your comment on Martin Fairclough, he's a national Hero and the Former Team Captain.

At the moment certain players are in until i've had a better look at them. Fairclough is getting a bit old but as long as he's one of the best we have he'll stay.
I'm suprised by how helpful people have been so far. I sent out mails to all the foreign coaches with Irish players and the only one who's read and not replied has been the guy with Kukureka. It's all going quite well, although i would have preferred an easier start but i didn't want to hang around arranging the games. I see no reason why we shouldn't beat Russia and Belarus and i'll be disappointed if we dont.

The database i'm creating is basically that but i'm making it in excel.
Someone has offered to make us an online submission style database. I'm thinking it over.
