I don't like to push any manager on what they're doing so i leave those clubs alone. It's generally the case anyway that those who are active on the forum are better trainers and more interested in the national team.
There have been some great youths over the last two seasons and i'm finding it more and more often that the smaller clubs are contributing more. Most of you guys in 1:3 seem to be really pushing the youth system and coaches, to the point of almost bankrupting yourselves but it's starting to pay off. If Welchy promotes this season i can see Beavers and Emmigrants following shortly after. While thats a loss of some sponsorship you should make it up in better results. Personally i'm just looking forward to the day when we have the top trainers in the top league, getting money that allows them to step up another level.

yeah i know... im wondering how big a hit welchy going up is going to be :(
can try some rough calculations there now.. seems to be kinda the average of the league + ur ranking points/2 or something like that as a basis...
actually now i think of it...that seems pretty accurate

At the start of the season there is always a massive hit as things seem to get reset. I lost about 40k from the end of last season to the start of this one. It'll balance itself out with results after a couple of weeks.

na its the fact teams like deaths assasins go up to ur league and have lower fanclub members and ranking...

I'd be careful of dismissing youths that come out less than incredible- usually the time it takes for them to get to that stage in the school means they're quite old when they get out. As you can improve them a lot faster through training that in the school a solid 16 year old for example can end up much better than an incredible 18 or 19 year old. My ideal junior would be an inadequate 4 on the first day of the season that popped twice in the four weeks to show his talent :) Out of the current NT squad I remember that Matthews, Shevlin, and Darby were all very good or less. Colbert and Coyne were only excellent as far as I remember and they're two of our highest value players...

I'm pissed off! We didn't deserve that scoreline, our defence stuck to them like glue and they still score 7? It wouldn't have hurt Cryan to actually make a save.

bummer...most people i would think use firesokker anyways

pity you cant get the program to update automatically when players get listed for transfer or when they are transfer listed..

I think that's scanning and against game rules. I go through the transfers and ads each night and send anyone interesting to the database.

cool man.. just wondering caus theres lot of updating needed especially for ppl without firesokker..plus a lot of clubs not participating in forums producing juniors id say :)
p.s we have only about 20 players in U21...should i pm ppl to ask them to update them or just leave it be for a while... its tedious work is all... even at that, id like to be able to login to sokker through the database and mass mail all owners through that or something :P

It will fill out eventually, it's only been live for a few days and some players are still going to the old site.
It'd be really useful if we had the Dream Team site back. That always provided a handful of decent players per season who slipped through the net. It's possible it'll be back soon.
