Put simply, defenders. I'm happy with our mids, our wings are lethal given space, our strikers rate well even if they don't perform like it but the defence kills us, especially today when we had 3 or our top 4 out.
yeah..it seems to be the main problem over the past 2 seasons iv been paying a bit of attention.. squad depth.. we really dont have anything like the other bigger countries
We don't have anything like the middle countries either. I think Wales put out 3 60+ defenders today.
yeah.. but our defenders seem to be trained as mids really.. its what happens because we're short in taht department also
We were supposed to play Wales tomorrow. I sent the invite on Sunday and assumed they had accepted seeing as it was arranged but evidently not. I'll have a look at who is left but at such late notice I'm prepared to let it go.
Typical, I sent out 3 challenges and the one who accepts is my 3rd choice.

I'll settle for that. Only Chile have bean able to beat Nigeria by more. I wasn't happy with the wingers at all, they didn't perform for all the chances they had. Curley's goal at the end was awesome.

There's certainly no easy game to rack up goal difference. I don't fancy this group but I do think if we can get out of it then we stand a fairly good chance of winning. A lot of the big teams are in groups together and there will be notably casualties in the group stage. It's a big ask though.
Even if you get out of the group you're likely going to be on the wrong side of the halves again for the following round. IMO the draw was wrong, gave no benefit to the sides that should have been seeded.
