@Nin: Corey Hogan in these moment have chances for the low form, or low stamina of the rest of defenders.

and in the played minutes yesterday, he played nice (few minutes but good)

@alvaro: yeap, nice group, Australia looks strong, will be a nice match, I think that we can win this group with 9pts, even, with 7pts, it depends of the goal average

As was discussed in the association forum, we were protagonist of this match, and we had nice stats:

5 Offsides 2
49% Possession 51%
72% Play in the half 28%

:) well, I think that we are the best team of the Mini World Cup (because we have the best goal average right now)

certainly, we have high chances of be the seed 1 in 16 finals
the bad news... a new injury in our team: Dull 19 days :(

Great victory Blackend!!

It was certainly a very leveled game leading up to it, but he who had the best tactic walked away with the 3 pts.

Undoubtfully the red card to their right center defender was key to break through their defensive line and create the 10 scoring opportunities. Very good mid level pressure, 72% in their half is awesome!!

EDIT: i feel we played that match like holland played the world cup final :P

but the difference is that we are most powerful, and Ireland have a better coach :P

I've not decided yet whether the midfield did an exceptional job or Australia was horrendously bad but we dominated that area. I stick by what I said pre-game though, even with 6 defenders we didn't cover the width and stop them getting through and without their red card I'm fairly certain we don't win. Cully did his best to prove that if you give a donkey enough chances he'll eventually score.

Why was Cully playing with an injury? I mean I know Curley was out but we must have other options
