We could argue that we messed up last season, so I don't really see that as an excuse. I'm not getting too far involved but yes it's possible, but you require 3 wins and hope that either Norge or us to lose 2 of our last 3 games. So it's possible but I'd rather be in our position than yours ;).

I dont consider Norge being catchable.
The way i see it you're almost certain of getting 18 points before we meet. That means we need 3 wins and 19 points, if we do that, we're through.

After watchin this weekends match for Ireland, i think you a very good job. If you perform on the level against Norway and Australia, anything can happen.

Ok then, all or nothing with this game. We need to win and thats exactly what this formation is set-out to do. We're a bit thin on the ground defensively but should be ok. I've taken a good look and their team, i know their weaknesses and i've a pretty good idea of how theyre going to play.
They're the better side but we outplayed them last time and were robbed of a victory. All we need this time is a similar performance and a bit of luck.
Bring it!

i worry

seeing how much effort you've put into this match its sad to see such a close loss. Although you dominated parts of the match and had more chances to score, Norge also had their chances and were a luckier team in the end, making use of your defense being pushed up.

It was an even game today. Your offensive defense worked allmost perfect, but i produced a few good chances and we where the lucky team in the end. It could hav ended both ways today.

Good luck onwards againt Australia.

Yet another good performance with nothing to show for it. We didnt deserve to lose that one.

I thought Ireland played better except for the last 10-15min of the first half and a few patches of play in the 2nd half.

Was a top quality performance but didn't get the rewards that were perhaps deserved. Good luck in the remainder of the qualification season.

Hard luck fella- that was a perfect setup; the attention to detail in your formation was incredible. The difference in the end was that Norway have a classy player in every department you're having to put some players in that you know can't cut it.

I really hope that every Irish user out there is fanatically training the next generation of superstars as we speak. I think you deserve a go with a level playing field.

Hard luck Nin. Just that back pass was a killer. Matthews looked a bit disappointing, he had two good shot but Skogheim had him in his pocket pretty much all game. probably didn't deserve to lose though.
