Subject: Ireland Vs...

I just got my Playstation copy of FF VII running on my PC. See you all in 6 months time ;)
2007-07-25 05:06:07
:) now thats a quality game
2007-07-26 14:50:46
Yeah, it's brilliant.

I've just started playing Final Fantasy X again. After being repeatedly killed by a couple of bosses I'm beginning to remember why I quit.
2007-07-26 17:48:59
i overplayed FFX myself, was expecting a huge battle at the end, so i spent weeks leveling myself up and playin endless games of blitzball only to beat the final boss in 3 turns :(

I got a fair way into FF X but never went back to it because it bored me and i hated that grid system. III, X2 and XII aside i own the lot but i've only finished VII and VIII. I'll get round to them one day.

Anyway, back to business.
I've spent * looks at clock * ... too long working on a new tactic for tomorrow, only to find i dont have the guts to use it. If things were to go tits up and Greece won heavily we could be out on goal difference.

Draw for the Copa America is also tomorrow. It's seeded like this

Lot
Argentina
Canada
Colombia
Chile

Lot 2
New Zealand
Peru
Ireland
Costa Rica

Lot 3
Venezuela
Paraguay
Uruguay
Bolivia

Lot 4
Honduras
Ecuador
Guatemala
Panamá

Best draw for us would probably be

Chile
Ireland
Paraguay
Panama

Worst Draw

Argentina
Ireland
Uruguay
Ecuador

Either way we should still get through. I wouldnt mind getting Argentina actually, it'd give me a chance to prepare before a second game with them. Flip side of that would be we'd probably have to go through 1 of the other 4 seeds after the group.

I was bored.
I'll do the assists at some point

As for Israel today, we've only met them once (under Executor) and we won 3-0 with 2 goals from Fairclough and 1 from Freyne.
To be quite honest i'm looking to destroy them today and send a message to the other teams in the tournament. I'd be happy with 5 seeing as thats how many we put past Greece.

Well if the message we wanted to send was "Kukureka is a muppet" then job done. God knows what was wrong with him today, he's a great defender in divine form and he looked awful.
To be honest it was never going to be our day, that was obvious from the moment Matthews hit the post with a clear goal from 3 yards out. The stats say plenty.

Well due to that cockup it looks like we'll be facing either Wales, Uruguay or Malaysia.

Suprisingly not. Unless i've made a mistake its Nigeria

The Israel formation was perfectly set up to stop ours, remarkably similar in fact to the formation we were talking about using in tough games ;) That being said with an ounce of luck we should have won it comfortably.
2007-07-28 16:14:49
It didnt look perfectly setup to stop us from where i was watching. As far as i can see we run them ragged and had a lot of space. It just wasnt our day though. I still dont know what happened with Kukureka but i wont be playing him central again.
2007-07-28 16:20:03
Actually it was Hanrahan who looked to be having problems as well. Unusual for him.
That throwin setup where we lost the first goal from needs looking at.
Even stranger was Hanrahan and Kukureka not coming back to deal with the 2nd goal :S

Someone clear up the conditional "Red card or no player" order for me because i'm not certain i get it.

If i set that order for all 4 of my defenders and one gets sent off, how can a substitute then come on in his place? Obviously he cant replace that player if he's been sent off so does another player get taken off (A mid) in return for the sub defender to come on?
The second part is the "No player" condition. How exactly can there be No player in a position? I understand that once you've used your subs and pick up an injury then you're lacking a player but then what use is a sub order when you've not got any left.
I cant find any explanation in the rules.

I'll use the example of Lestina against New Zealand a couple of weeks ago. He got sent off and cost us a victory. Now if i had the conditional order set for him, what would have happened? A direct substitution isnt allowed.
