Subject: Ireland Vs...
Murray Lally is promoted to the national squad. Someone will probably be dropped in return.
I've not checked their team but the game wasn't an U-21 game.
anyway i watched the first half and was sure you would score at least 10, i was surprised when I saw the final scoreline...heh really must be some sort of irish curse then ;)
Only just seen the full international results from last night. Looks like Northern Ireland got a reprieve with Spain, Denmark and Sweden all dropping points. Had they won they'd actually look like qualifying.
All set for Venezuela tomorrow. This could be a tough one and it'll see how much strength in depth we've got. There are a lot of key players out with either injuries, bookings or poor form
Easy win, i´ll guess 6-0 to Ireland, anythingelse is a matter of Bad Tactics ;D
Normally i'd say this would be comfortable but at a guess we've got about 40% of our squad unavailable through one reason or another. Evens it up a bit
You've just set it up for one of my players to get an own goal now :)
I didnt think it was possible for our mid situation to get any worse but it has. If i stick to my normal rules we're without our entire 1st choice midfield and even the replacements dont look good.
Any result against Canada would be a miracle.

A draw was the least we deserved and if we'd had Armstrong/MacKeamish and Lizrraga in form we'd probably have won that.
We're through the group although i think it's Argentina next.

As it's an afternoon game this week I'll probably have some pre-match report up tomorrow.
I'm actually looking forward to this one despite it probably being one-sided. This will be our last game in the Copa America though, regardless of the result.
