This group could have been much easier. Being paired with Sweden is far from ideal, especially given that theyre the first game and our squad is a mess. As for the other two, it could have been worse. Hungary are probably the weakest of the 2nd seeds and i think Belgium are massively over-rated.

Sweden are the reason it's not a good group. It wont be enough to finish 3rd in this group because of the way qualification is setup, it needs to be an emphatic 3rd place.
Its the first 2 in the group plus the best 6/13 3rd place teams. Given that the 3rd seeds in other groups include 5 new countries, thats a huge advantage for the 4th seeds in those groups. To be honest i think we've been screwed by introducing new teams into the ranking again.

Belgium is not overrated imo, on the opposite Hungary is underrated.

If you want to see an easy group, see H of Ceska republika, thats too easy i would say.

Hungary are much better. I suspect you're overestimating Ireland, possibly because i'm such a great coach ;)
