Basically we need maximum points from the team that would finish below us. Originally that would have been China, Ukraine and Sweden but Sweden are away so now we have to get maximum points from Hungary. Its far from impossible.

we need to win all games except belgium... i think that we can do it. its extrimaly difficult, but possible.

First impression, i dont like the tactic at all. I'm also amazed that you've played 3 forwards and none of them are Matthews. If this group goes to goal difference and it's quite possible, this will be a big mistake.

They hit us in our weak link, strikers...they filled the 16yard box and their defenders were a good match for our attack.

Win is a win, i am happy for 3 points. Not happy with MIDs and wish we could score more goals.

Lizzraga didnt play because he has two yellow cards and low defending so a danger of him missing next crucial match against Hungary was too big.

Matthews only played 2nd half because his form is low and others are about same quality.

As for tactics, i think the winger thing worked quite well, Sanabria had a lot of balls and high enough tech so they couldnt tackle him...

if you look at matches Hungary and Sweden played against China and Ukraine, they had about the same amount of shots, so i cannot be they had better tactics, its just they convert more of them into goals...
