They're not in our group so they should qualify easily.
Luckily Poland has a huge Irish population which helps their player pool quite a bit...

maybe thats strange for You, but polsih managers want to have some problems in eliminations:) one of major goals of my election speach was, that we will play in eliminations with juniors, representations of each leagues, to make some emotions:)

I guess it makes it a challenge for you as you'll have to come up with some pretty good tactics to win. The problem is that when you win people will say it was because of your players anyway :) I think I'll be watching your game straight after our one.
I have a real challenge for you though- how about when you play a country you can only use Polish players playing in that country? :)

now its a little bit to late, i said how will the schedule look like. Tomorrow we will play first team, next week rep of III polish div, next IV, V, VI... and the return games with u-18, u-19, as to u-23 with mexico in last game.
i think that the most intetresting game in season will be an U-xx games!:)

I guess you didn't expect their defense to stand that deep. It caused a lot of problems and our striker got tackled frontside. Donegan and Coyne didn't have much space to pass, Colbert and Shevlin played a huge role in this match! They assisted the goals and beside this they stopped a lot of counter attacks from Israel.
Israel wasn't dangerous at all, good work to play with that high! ;-)

It's a potential banana skin out of the way so I'm happy enough but I was hoping for a bigger score today. The formation Sharon came up with was a million miles from anything I expected, hence the strikers being so far back :) Colbert and Shevlin looked good today alright, the type of formation it was suited them and it meant our defence was rarely troubled. Keenan was a waste of space in the end, he's not a player who can turn on the ball and run with it.

Looking at Argentina for next week I think there's a definite chance of an upset. Unfortunately the Ceska manager doesn't look like a mug so we might not win that by a landslide ;)

Hurrah.
Their tactic had very little resemblence to what we expected. I certainly didnt expect them to play 2 strikers which i think was a mistake on their part. The only thing i got right was i expected the defence to play around their area which caused some problems. Our defence easily coped with everything they had.
The return of some players should push our rating up past the 60 mark so Argentina have a big target on their back.
Now the first game is done we can start properly scouting. I want to watch the Czech-Argentine game.
